looks like raith's leftback has been told to man mark nathan who has shown some nice pieces of skill but nothing of real menance. but his presence on the pitch alone is creating a lot of space

just had his first real good move turning a defender sending himself in on goal and the keeper makes a good save. then moments later nathan played a beautiful through ball for rangers second

wow unbelievable skill from nathan skipping past 3 defenders then sends in a ball across goal for a tap in for rangers way too easy

what a match as oduwa saves his best for last as he nutmeggs a defender on the edge of the box then side steps another defender before being absolutely taken out by a raith defender to win a pen which after being converted he is immediately subbed off. a fantastic game from nathan absolutely ran riot even with the special attention raith was paying him

Courtesy of @0-Tibsy-0 in the youth thread :

Ogilvie scored today.

Watching Rangers at the moment, Oduwa just embarrassed the defense before getting is second assist. 1st assist was a great pass too.

Assist 1: https://twitter.com/Danny_RFCACM/status/640174545085857792

Assist 2: https://twitter.com/Danny_RFCACM/status/640181636118790144

Oduwa just been subbed to a standing ovation.

He won a penalty, not sure how he dribbled through the defence, but it was embarrassing.

....and all those from playing as RW - in Spurs youth and indeed this pre-season he played on the left, his second position as no 10 and very infrequently as RW (although he did play that on loan at Luton j.

Hopefully Poch is getting regular feedback on his success - and versatility of playing right wing and left wing.

He's certainly going to come back with very high confidence if he continues like this in Scotland. Just hope he has to play against some tougher opposition sometime this season.

Rangers FC comments on twitter :

17' Oduwa getting into the game for the first time and causing all kinds of problems down the right with his flicks and tricks. Corner.

Rangers FC‏@RangersFC
27' Oduwa darting into the box and sliding it to Zelalem who went round his marker & his shot beat the keeper, but cleared by the last man.

Rangers FC‏@RangersFC
43' Zelalem into the feet of Oduwa who turned his marker fantastically then shot low, forcing a save from Cuthbert. Second ball cleared.

Rangers FC‏@RangersFC
45' GOAL: Majestic outside of the boot flick into the box from Oduwa into the path of Tavernier who slotted it home for 2:0

Rangers FC‏@RangersFC
55' GOAL GOAL GOAL! Barrie McKay knocking it in from close range, but that goal all about the work from Oduwa. 3:0

Rangers FC‏@RangersFC
55' GOAL: Oduwa getting onto the ball inside his own half and darting forward at pace, weaving inside and outside. Cut back excellent.

Rangers FC‏@RangersFC
'69 It's another penalty for @RangersFC following some audacious skills from Oduwa inside the box, brought down.

70' SUB: After that fantastic piece of skill to earn that second penalty, Oduwa is replaced by Ryan Hardie with twenty minutes still to play

And quite a few fans reactions - one of my favourites :

Oduwa sent to us from heaven

2 Assists and earned a pen as Rangers win 5-0 - so a big part in 60% of the goals - as Rangers get 9th win in a row

I wish we'd kept him. He'd really liven up our europa league games.
I know what you mean but he'll return with probably 30 odd games under his belt. Can't beat that kind of experience. A good cup run too might put him up against some Premiership "quality".

We have son, njie, pritchard, townsend, lamela, chadli, eriksen, dembele, alli, carroll and onomah. Not sure he would have got any game time at all.

Pals with some of the Rangers TV guys. Apparently, Oduwa is a really nice guy and is settling in very well. Will try and mine these contacts and see if can get any other bits of juicy info through him and Ball.

Would be great for Oduwa if we could give him some regular English Championship football next season.

He's progressing well, and plenty of time for development yet.

With so much money from tv next year it's going to be incredibly difficult to get a loan to a premiership team from now on. Unless dyke or uefa change the rules (which they might).
