I am totally drunk but watching these clips now makes me love Oduwa more than anyone else at the moment. Give him this year at Rangers then bring him back and play him every game 2016/2017. He is what football should be all about.

That's just great to watch. Being at Rangers all season is going to give him so much confidence, and he will know it won't be as easy in the Premier League but playing in front of 42k fans every week will give him great experience. Hopefully he will come back to us next season and be in and around the first team.

Nice touch the way the players went over to congratulate him after the penalty was scored.

I just love the way he dribbles, also it's good that he'll be playing against defences that sit deep most of the time. So far this is a loan that's working out well, let's hope it continues. He's with the rest guy coach to help his development and that's the most important thing.

They're targeting him because he's shown a propensity to showboat. While we all get a laugh out of it, opponents get pissed off over it. It's his own fault, to be honest. I'd recall him only if the targeting doesnt stop.
You learn in this environment he'll come back tougher

Touch of the Kanu's about him, you have to remember the level this is at though - the equivalent of the conference.

Is there any way we could cancel the loan and get him a Championship move and a higher standard of opposition in January? Some Premier League clubs might want to take a chance on him. Rangers will be promoted by Xmas and you have to question how much it will help him playing in a team that wins 4 or 5 nil every week against generally poor football teams.

Might be worth signing up for Rangers TV this season!

I thought Oduwa looked good for us pre season and hoped he'd be kept here but this looks like it will be a speacial loan move for him. Credit to the Rangers fans for backing him early on after he got slated for being too flash, even if it is easy to back a player in that kind of form, their support will only add to his confidence.

Maybe they should keep him next season when they're promoted if Poch doesn't feel he's ready. Is there much difference between the Scottish top division and the Championship? I think staying at a team where you're loved by the fans must be better for a player than chopping and changing, it would just depend on the quality of football I guess.

Saying that, if Lamela leaves next season then Oduwa could step in and save us money to go towards a striker.

Oduwa's definitely got a bit of what the fans are missing at the Lane atm. Someone to get bums off seats.

What will be interesting to see is how he does now he's a bit of a superstar in Glasgow. Opposition will be targeting him, and some of those big hairy Scottish defenders will be trying to "sort him out". Will be great experience for him to deal with it all.

I'm interested to see if he keeps his head screwed on. Wonder if he keeps grounded and producing for the team and working hard like he does or tries to keep going solo. I reckon the former but will be good for his development

I think people will be surprised but just how productive and industrious he is. He may not always pick out the right pass and still needs to improve like most but he is more than a showboater. And I feel that people assume that if you showboat it means that's all you do, he most definitely is a team player

Agree with that - and he also tracks back to defend more than many winger/forwards do. He's a hard worker, and as you say, a team player

Nathan Oduwa getting rave reports in Scotland. The EPL is a step up I know but it seems we have another good young prospect on his way to our first team squad next year.

Prob not next year. He's playing in a league that's equivalent to the conference. The kid has talent but needs a championship loan before he's considered for first team squad.
