Ok - this is the Match Thread, not a Compare Willy Size Thread, although there's an idea for the Mansion....
SS57 and Snake in particular, pack in the jibes please. It's all over one comment that has got out of proportion so let's leave it please.

Just in from the game, NEED SLEEP, and at work already. I thought we done a professional job last night. After tking the lead it almost felt like a pre-season game. We had a few gears to go up if we needed to but did'nt do in the end. NEC huffed and puffed but did not really cause us any serious problems. At this stage it's all about getting the points on the board and not the performance. We got our win without not really breaking sweat aswell as doing so by having 5 first teamers missing. Remember NEC beat the Dutch champs, PSV, 2-0 a few weeks back and we made them look a less than average team. Our record away in the UEFA cup sine 06 is played 13, won 8, drawn 3 & lost 2. That's a record not to be sniffed at....!
p.s. our record under Redknapp is now played 9, won 7, drawn 1 & lost 1. Long may this run continue!

Alot of legwork, especially from Campbell, but few clearcut opportunities given to them by the midfield.
Campbell should have scored before O´Hara stuck in the rebound, and Bent had a header in the 2nd half that he did quite well with.
I think some people consider a quiet game from Bent to mean he´s played shite. But hes very reliant on the midfield creating opportunities for him. If they have a quiet match, Bent has a quiet match.
