Its all very well just focussing on his crossing, but i think the problem lies deeper.

Players like Modric play with their heads up, and are always aware of whats around them and others' movement. Lennon plays with his head down and relies on his pace to beat a man without looking up and just puts in aimless balls. He needs to be more aware of whats around him.

Which is why I believe we still haven't seen the best of him, that is something that comes with maturity.

what garbish. he does not do what you suggest. his balls in are not aimless they are class low, into the danger area passes. perfect for side footing in, or winning corners. you make him sound like a bloody sunday league player.

I agree. When Ryan Giggs was in his teens/early twenties, he could beat defenders for fun, but couldn't cross for shit. I think Lennon will improve the same way that Giggs did.

how can you agree with this? it utter garbish. he is a professional international footballer. sudden comparisons to a player that none of us had seen much of before the euros is proper larfable. lennon is one of our Best players.

That's LARFABLE mate. Watching lennon week in week out is possibly one of the most frustrating things. He has all the 'threat' but if ever there was a player that lacks the end product its Aaron Lennon.

If his balls in are 'not aimless they are class low, into the danger area passes, perfect for side footing in, or winning corners' as you put it, then perhaps the problem is with Keanes, Berbs' and all our other players movement.........:bs:

Lennon is young and the criticism aimed at him is unwarranted because people seem to think he is a seasoned pro.

He will make more mistakes and get better. Players develop at different rates, My concern is not his footballing ability or potential because he will come good. Its his playboy attitude, we all know which direction a player goes when it gets too much

I agree about his attitude, but Lennon hasn't improved, and in fact last season i feel his form and performances went downhill.
