New Keane shirt.

Anyone else had the new away shirt/strip delivered with Keane on the back? Bought my 5yr old the strip with Keane on,arrived just hours before its announced he wants to go!! Its currently hung up still in the wrapper,he doesnt want to wear it and i wouldnt let him anyway! £30 that cold have been better spent.:bang:

I guess im annoyed but i am proud that we ahd a player of keanes quality at spurs and that he won a cup with us and that he gave his all. I can understand the move as he is 28 and wants one last chance to win some more cups.

i bought the players version of the home top - £60 it cost - got Keane 10 on the back with the prem badges on the sleeves - £20 for that, so £80 down the drain and i have only got wearing the shirt once.

you're right mate but for a someone

1- who said he loves the club want to stay until the end of his career
2- who is No.10, treated as legend recently, was 'untouchable' according to MJ
3- The fans love him too much, one of their favourite

so if he would like that chance to leave .. but not :

I love Keano, and have been in his company on numerous occasions, but a move to Scouserville is no guarantee that he will win any silverware....and he accepts that....but the lure of Anfield may be too much for this ex-yid (assumption on my part).
I feel empty this weekend....for the first time in a long, long time. My dreams are shattered, whether or not we loose Keano or Berbs. The sour taste of the Premiership conspiracy machine shall remain in my mouth for many years to come. We (THFC) have been dealt with like small kid's....cannon fodder for the BIG Kid's above us in the Senior playground.
In other words we have been 'kept back', for another year, to try to learn how to 'hold our own' in an alien environment.... but we have failed before....and I, for one, can see less chance of success this, or in any future term! Depression talk, I realize, but that is where I am at the moment....and they say that Football is The Beautiful Game.....well not this week 'mes amis'! COYS (I can remember when we were a decent and well run club....but that was long time ago! Dream on.....and on!

I fear you are right mate. I was waiting until September 1st before getting a name done, as yet I was undecided but would have most likely gone with Keane. Now I don't think I can trust any of them. Maybe if we all got Nicholson 61 it would send a sign to the modern day player.

Got Ginola 14 on my shirt when he was here, I was about 8, and I still don't regret it, even when he left the club i continued to wear it and I wish it still fitted me :lol:

I'm in shock at Keane's possible departure, I really thought he'd finish his career here.
