Hello all,

Signed up for the forum yesterday. Looking forward to it. Am I also allowed to stick a link in for my new Spurs blog? It's called Such Small Portions. It's named after a Woody Allen joke and, hopefully, it's quite funny.

The current entry is a letter from me now to me aged 10, when we'd just been relegating, trying to convince me to keep the faith.

SSP - you are like me (SSP - SP =Eek), my first year of Yid-Hood was when we were relegated. What is funny (and I am not saying you implied this about yourself), is that it just didn't enter my head to ,not support the club' because we were in a lower league. For all I knew we could have been in (the old) Div 2 for eons, or even relegated from there, but I just 'supported my team'. What I remember about that season (I wasn't very sophisticated in my appreciation of the game at that tender age:grin, were the goals of GHodd and 9-0 against Bristol Rovers.

Anyway, I digress. Welcome to the site. Good luck with the BLOG. COYS.

Thanks SP and CH. Nah, giving up was never really an option. But kids are fickle, aren't they? And when I was at school, every single little sod seemed to support Liverpool!
