Look at the badges/crests from the 21st century.

This whole ‘never red’ thing is revisionist and childish.
Kind of get the sentiment, but behave it’s all part of the narrative like never JVC, Never Emirates, Never 02. I also hold my breath as I pass through Arsenal station on the Piccadilly line. I once had a client mtg that meant getting off there. I held my breath from exiting the train to reaching daylight.

I admire your adherence to such a well defined set of arbitrary behaviours that have no purpose whatsoever. I assume you also throw salt over your shoulder when you spill some, refuse to say ‘Macbeth’ aloud, and make the sign of the ‘evil eye’ when you see a black cat? Same/same…

Oh, and ‘behave’? Please… 🙄

Blimey, chill out son. Getting a bit too deep on something that’s a bit of fun. Relax.

Yeah that's just fucking odd.

Is it actually 4 different colours on this shirt or it is just the light that fucks with my brain?

Four and dont forget the badge - its that multi colour shiny thing - so five things going on. Way too fucking much - I dont mind the shiny badge and nike logo but if they just kept it to the main colour and purple for the rest of the shirt that would be fine but a white AIA and then another shade of blue/purple for the collar.

and all that is not including the sleeve trimmings

Colours are pretty evocative. Especially red (look how culturally significant it is in Asia). I don’t know whether it’s because of Arsenal that I don’t much care for the colour red, but it probably is. It’s not my preference to have it on a Spurs shirt.

Anyway. Each to their own. This year’s kits look cleaner than last. As long as we win in it that’s what matters. The kit with the yellow and red in it is memorable from the Crouchy CL year after all.

Exactly! Really dont like this kit tbh. The dark navy on the stomach part is nice but then it turns shade on the shoulders and sleeves to a lighter blue and then the sides beneath the armpits is beige(?). I mean why the fuck? Haha
Guessing the shorts will be black also lol

I just don't like collars on kits any more.
May as well put a tie on it while they're at it.
And FWIW, they've taken the retro look too literally as it looks heavy & doesn't appear to be very form fitting either.
Goes against the current light-weight, moisture wicking, aerodynamic tops of today.

Someone who has a difference in opinion to you is childish? Incredible.
The concept is childish. My post makes that clear.
No problem with differing opinions - I’m just another arrogant asshole on the internet. 👍

You know - you’re right, I apologise. Found out yesterday that my dog has cancer, so I got drunk and looked for a fight wherever I could find one.
My bad.

Anyone know what colour the shorts for the away kit are?

I loved the navy adidas away kit with white shorts and white socks.
