I always wondered why we didn't have white seats. cant understand why we are buying new seats now when they will be ripped out in a few months.

I'm not 100% sure but think they may be talking about white seats in WHL. The lower tier looks a lot lighter than the upper

They look the same blue they always have. They just have more sun glare than the upper tier.

TOTTENHAM could become the first Premier League club to offer a new safe-standing area for their fans, after the side’s head groundsman, Darren Baldwin, revealed that the stunning “Kop” end for home fans in the new White Hart Lane stadium has been designed so seats can be locked in an upright position to create new terraces.

Mr Baldwin was discussing the Lane refit, rumoured to be costing up to £600million, at an architecture conference in Birmingham this week.

He said the 61,000 capacity ground, which will make it the largest Premier League stadium in London, included plans for the 17,000 single-tier end, behind the southern goal, for safe standing, at the request of chairman Daniel Levy.

Mr Baldwin said the club had been inspired by playing at German club Borussia Dortmund’s Westfalenstadion last season and hopes for a change in the law would mean Spurs could let fans choose to buy tickets in an standing area.
