My only disappointment is that they didn't figure this into the stadium design. It would make it feel truly like 'home' if it were on top as before.
It shouldn't be hidden away in a museum. It should sit high above North London, all proud.

I think the way the new roof is configured it'd be pretty much impossible to see them on top anyway, Would they fit in with an ultra modern style roof, too? Some things are of their time, I guess.

What would be cool is one of them built into the wall in the new tunnel, so the players go past it on their way out. Nice piece of history to stir the loins...

Yeah, it MUST be in or even around the stadium somewhere, surely. On an elegant plinth outside the stadium.

Nice idea, but I think it's more important for the fans to see.
When I did the stadium tour in December, I asked the chaps taking the tour whether the two cockerels would be placed on the roof of the new stadium in the same way as they are [were] on the old girl. One of the chaps said they would be! I don't know what weight should be given to that!?

I was surprised they didn't start with taking down Paxton. Thought that would make it easier to work on the core on that corner straight away.

Best guess is they'll rip the west stand out then pull the north stand inwards to minimise the disruption to the new build.
