Still looks on course for the first early February (first/second week) .
The debate would be what constitutes "the roof going on", it may not necessarily mean the actual start of the physical ring lift. It could mean the start of the prep for that lift, which we may already be in to.

Who the fuck is richard cracknel?

Sounds like bullshit as that would mean two stands closed.

Was RabbiCrackers the ITK, I believe? - might have spelled it wrong or just been wrong in general. Never seen him get anything right on Twitter, fwiw. Just a tube driver that supports Spurs.

Around 85% of the cables for the lift are in place already, so they'll be complete around the same time as the external tension ring pieces on the south stand. So the main lift should be able to start before the second week in Feb.

What I was getting at is that the placement of the cables for the lift may be considered part of the "roof going on" process, part of the 12 week timeline.

Seems unlikely as they places the cables on the North Stand months ago, I think it'll be three weeks for the initial lift and then another 9 to install lighting, waterproof covering and anything else that is fixed to the roof structure.

He did the ‘Oh when the spurs’ podcast and hosts those Evening with ‘insert ex spurs player’ nights too

So from the post on the previous page completion will be 12 weeks from when the roof is up in which case if the roof is up by the end of February the build will complete late May early June, is that right?

I have probably read it wrong, but I took it to meant that the roof will be completed 12 weeks after the cables start being lifted, not that the build will be completed.

What does Roberts know about construction?
He’ll know if it’s going good or bad though through his contacts in the club.

Anyway this is always going to be a tight schedule and a wait and see situation

People involved in the project are been told to be “positive “ when talking about completion dates.
The truth is knowboby knows if it will be done on time.
What I can say is if it’s not on time it won’t be from lack of labour or effort

Lots of talk about safe standing on talksport (I know) today. Could just imagine the “kop” stand as a stand in section, that would be magic
