Big gamble by Danny Boy not nailing this with HSBC or A.N Other, with the lack of investment in the current team our stock could be at its highest right now to potential investors.....future offers may not be as lucrative.

Danny boy will do his best for Spurs as far as naming rights concerned, he cannot accept any deal for the sake of it, it has to be right for Spurs.

Very true.

Doesn't seem an ideal time to be negotiating this deal either with the Brexit shadow hanging over us and so many big businesses threatening to leave or streamlining.

If you're uncertain of the future, you don't sign up to a multi-million pound stadium deal I guess...

The extra moolah would have been bloody handy about now though.

Does any one know what they are currently doing at the moment with the pitch? Seems they are laying down large square slabs of something but don't know what it is/does.

Looks like protective covering for a crane to come in and finish off some bits, or maybe so people can enter the pitch for the test event?

That Times article is a bit peculiar, or perhaps a bit mendacious. It starts out with the Levy-article-knee-jerk assertion that HSBC pulled out of the deal because they couldn't agree a figure with THFC.

Then at the end, it becomes much clearer that the real reason was that Tucker, who has a pre-existing relationship with Levy from AIA, wanted to do the deal, but did not have support at HSBC board level.

I hope all the ceilings aren’t going to be left exposed in the general admission areas. I think it looks untidy but it seems they are going for that type of “look”
