That Times article is a bit peculiar, or perhaps a bit mendacious. It starts out with the Levy-article-knee-jerk assertion that HSBC pulled out of the deal because they couldn't agree a figure with THFC.

Then at the end, it becomes much clearer that the real reason was that Tucker, who has a pre-existing relationship with Levy from AIA, wanted to do the deal, but did not have support at HSBC board level.

Yeah, for many reasons it’s Levy-kicking season at the moment. But joining the dots it seems Tucker may have been able to sell the deal at a lower price than Levy wanted to the HSBC board, but Levy won’t go below his bottom line.

We’re allowed to wander round the stadium and use their posh loos before fans pee all over the floor and we can sample their fine burgers and sausage rolls ??

When you see all the kitchens and everything as well you realise how much is actually been done and what it takes to get it all ready. Nobody has tried to build a stadium in this timescale before so to do it is pretty amazing.

JJ just posted a picture on his twitter. A lot more seats installed than I thought. I didn’t realize that the light blue color was seats, I thought only he dark blue were installed. The light blue are the seats but with plastic covers on them. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
