For some of us it's just the principle of Milton Keynes. How would we feel if it was Tottenham they'd destroyed instead of Wimbledon and now another big club were going to come in and pay them a wad of cash to use their stadium when there appear to be other options?

Agreed. It's a pretty detestable club in that respect.

Not much we can do about it though. If there aren't other options it just becomes a necessary evil we have to go through to get a new stadium.

One thing I did get from the video is that the Kop is going to be mighty impressive once built. Especially if the gradient is quite steep. Fill it with some Spurs fans on Oooh I'm excited.

comments from that video:

hahahahahahahahaa a complete rip off of the emirates!!
mini emirates but blue....lol
Im a spurs fan and besides for the wall of seats behind the goal it looks identical to the emirates
i dont get why spurs would want basicly a copy of arsenals ground :/ or how this idea of like the upper tier being like a wave, make it all as tall as the farthest back seat and get more fans in
You see the player entrance, EXACTLY like emirates the only thing different is the exterior view and the horizontal layouts
emirates and da luz are identical
Stadium without soul, shame that all new stadiums looks the same. Only WHL!
in my opinion this stadium looks like brightons new stadium, the etihad stadium and a bit like the emirates.
Just looks like the Emirates, with the dips in the corners, it even has a clock attached to the roof at one end!
funny how this is the same as the emirates
its just like emirates!
yeah but the design is the same with big tiers at the bottom and top with two smaller tiers in the middle, and the corners are shorter so it slopes upwards to each side. its like arsenals which itself was a near copy of benfica's.

i know we have pr0 architect design lads on here who insist that it's nothing like the emirates but they're doing so from an intricacy standpoint, any mere mortal looking at the two grounds sees the massive similarities. the word out of the thst meeting was that the ground has undergone a redesign, i just pray that this is true. i'd rather have an ugly ass stadium than blue emirates. i don't even like the blue either!

I'd just like to know from the club exactly why MK is the only viable option, rather than Upton Park, the Olympic Stadium, Arsenal, Chelsea, Brighton and Ipswich all of whom I'd prefer. I frankly don't buy the claim that MK may be the only viable option and that if Wimbledon had never been killed we'd have been totally screwed right now. There is an alternative, even if it might be less commercially attractive to Mr. Levy.

Get a grip people. It's only for one season. It's not like we're moving there permanently. One season and we move into one of the best stadiums in Europe. It really doesn't matter. The cheapest option is whats best for the club.

Who gives a shit about Wimbledon.
We need to borrow a stadium.
They'll lend it to us.
That's ALL that matters.

According to my Facebook news feed, simple people respond more to words that look like pictures more positively than just simple words.

I am amazed that there are some who are bitching about going to MK for one season, its 50 miles from the Lane not the other side of the world. What about the idea that fans should follow their team through think and thin.

Will next year be the last year in the lane then? Will they do tickets differently in the last season?

Who said its the only viable option ? Have you got a statement we haven't seen ? Why don't you wait for the club then ? Until they say why, you can't moan about something they haven't even said yet !

Some people. Seriously. Hold your tongue until we hear from the horses mouth. You're bashing the club for no reason at the moment. Conjecture and hearsay are nothing to give the club shit for. Unless you just like doing it ?

Oh comon. They were a detestable club before they moved to MK.

Oh comon. They were a detestable club before they moved to MK.

I used to like old Wimbledon

Hated their brand of football, and the vast majority of their players, but I admired their character and spirit. Felt sorry for their fans when the club was essentially destroyed, and its remnants re-branded and re-located.

If it happened to Spurs, I wouldn't follow MK Hotspur.
