Yes I noticed that, but then levy talks about us playing our games at Wembely next season as a definite. I imagine the word option is for whatever reason a chance to back out.

It's probably also a negotiating tactic so that he can try to get us the best deal.

Can anyone explain me if we can play all our league games at WHL next season, Then why not we play ucl games at whl ?

CL only next season (option) for all games the following season when WHL is being demolished and a new footballing Jerusalem is built in Tottenhams green and pleasant land.

What I think is interesting and has gone a little bit unnoticed is that we have an 'option' to play at Wembley for the full 17/18 stadium. It isn't a done deal yet and we may still choose to go to MK, as unlikely as it now seems.

An option means it's been agreed and needs to be taken up. Probably on an option incase there is a delay in construction as the Woolwich had and we don't have to move out.

For European games the first few rows cant be used. Think its due to advertising could be wrong.
So next season it would be a reduced capacity due to work going on for the new stadium, and then reduced again for CL games.

I think we have an option for 2017/18 to account for the possibility that the stadium build may be delayed, such that we won't be ready to demolish the existing stadium until 2018/19. We don't want to commit to paying rent for Wembley until we know we'll be moving.

Levy:

"Importantly, as we know it was our fans' preference, it means that we can continue to play our home matches in London during our season away."

That line is the UEFA prescribed/recommended maximum of 190 meters away from the farthest corner flag. Which West Ham were adhering to until they thought they could pack a few more unsuspecting punters in at the back, they are now working backwards up those stands using increasing numbers of seats that are previously deemed unsuitable for watching football.

Historic Record for Valentinos - White Hart Pub prior to demolition for Spurs New Stadium

Think its even more significant than that.

As per the covering letter 'An application to discharge the Planning condition A15 (Demolition of locally listed buildings).

I think this grants us permission to demolish these buildings as soon as we like, with no more conditions (link is to the Historic Record for each building ), after, of course, taking out the bits to be saved/preserved in Tottenham Experience etc:

Incidentally Historic England's response is interesting, basically says 'why bother to notify us that they are coming down'

If you look at bottom left corner flag you'll the yellow line going for 190m up to back of opposite stand. Using the corner flag as a centre point the 190m distance is shown as a proscribed thin radial arc line. Then do the same with the the other 3 corner flags acting as a centre and using a radius of 190m you can proscribe other radial arcs, and in that way you end up with that thin yellow line shape, which depicts the outline of the furthest point at back of stands to opposite corner flag.
I'm not certain of this bit, but I understand there is some UEFA / FIFA rule about maximum distance spectators can be placed from the opposite corner flag, I thought that was 200 yds so maybe 190m is the rough metric equivalent. That is why, I think, the areas marked in blue on the spammers rented stadium don't have any seating as they fall outside the remit of distance spectators can be for football. I think they are leaning on the Legacynpeople to put seats in there any way, even if not used for football so they can boast a larger capacity than us. Have a look at ours to compare how much closer we will be to the action. Just a few rows at back of South stand Kop as far away as spammers.

Their extra clipped in seats you can see in their diagram in the top stand, which does not have a gap as per the bottom stand. Theirs is a truly awful spectator stadium.

The word 'option' is interesting in the statement, particularly when followed by the wording about TFL etc. whilst we have planning for the stadium etc, are we still reliant on other parties delivering x, y or z in order for the project to be feasible?

In any case, great news about next season! Any word on whether it will be full capacity Wembley?

Yes,that's right. Those documents are the basis and reports which discharged our responsibility and so permission has been been granted to demolish. We now just have to take out, store, certain items before wrecking ball can commence.

Cheers for that. I almost want to go to a game at the Olympic stadium just to see how bad it's going to be. Trouble is, that would be me giving West Ham more of my money which I'm not going to do.
