Oh yeah. The lack of pillar in the other stand should've been a giveaway!Park Lane. Looks like a pre season game v Rangers judging how empty the West Stand is and how busy the away end is

Yes but its 2o million per year more than what Levy has at the moment. A bird in hand etc..........Reports that Vodaphone have a agreed a 6-year £20m deal to sponsor the Olympic stadium.
That's peanuts compared to what Levy is looking for...
I'm sure if Levy offered theYes but its 2o million per year more than what Levy has at the moment. A bird in hand etc..........
If Levy offered our naming rights for 1p a year he'd still be getting more than West Ham get out of this. 20 Million £ over six years = barely 3.4 million per year. Shocking deal for the taxpayer.
So that is £20m to £30m naming rights deal over 7 years.Arsenal’s £150 million Emirates deal covers a 5-year extension in shirt sponsorship from 2014 to 2019 plus a 7-year extension in stadium naming rights from 2021 to 2028. The club has not divulged how much of the deal is for naming rights, so I have used the straightforward £30 million annual figure, though my own estimate would put the pure shirt sponsorship at around £26 million.

The key is the prospective NFL team moving in. It's going to happen, I don't care what anyone says. No way would we be designing the two pitches, NFL dressing rooms, if we weren't given the nod and wink behind closed doors. No deal is better than a bad deal...
But is £3.4m such a bad deal?
From swiss ramble:

£3m to £4m a season.
Levy wants a £400m deal...
Maybe there was a sponsor happy to splash £400m. If they were having second thoughts because of May's mayhem, it would be tricky to find another at short notice. The key is the prospective NFL team moving in. Yeah, possible Brexit has hampered it, but London as a sports destination, and the PL and NFL as brands are still 2nd to none.Maybe there was a sponsor happy to splash £400m. If they were having second thoughts because of May's mayhem, it would be tricky to find another at short notice.
Yeah yeah. I know. Naming rights is done and dusted.
Bit of OT old WHL that just popped up.
