Newcastle United are keen on signing Tottenham midfielder Oliver Skipp, with a move for Arsenal’s Joe Willock appearing increasingly unlikely. Steve Bruce is desperate to sign Willock – preferably on a permanent deal – after the midfielder’s successful loan spell in the north-east during the second half of last season.

If he is to go on loan, I'm pretty sure Bruce will give him game time.

I think he should stay with us and fight for a place, especially as we have a new coach and several new faces arriving and some leaving.

He's good enough to feature in most games for us this season, and I reckon he will

It would make no sense to send him out on loan again. Whether we play 4-3-3 or 5-2-3, he should be getting regular playing time (ahead of Winks, Sissoko and Dele).
