We should win this easily if Eriksen and kane up it in the second half.

We've had multiple promising positions we've really wasted.

He’s been perfectly solid doing his role just like last year and still the same old “fans” whinge and moan.

Agree - Sissoko is playing to his ability and no one should be surprised as this is his level. That he is starting is the issue - laid squarely at the feet of our recruitment policy

It's like people want Aurier to fail.

Others make mistakes too but we like them so we'll pretend like we didn't see it.

Rubbish.

Don't be stupid. Many of us just realise he is an awful defender and wonder how the fcuk we bought him for £22m when we seemed not to have a pot to piss in for transfers this summer.

p.s. Poch the £/Eur has been lower pre Brexit.

Standard. Kane looks exhausted, sissoko can't control or pass. Biggest worry for me is Moura, he looks on a completely different wavelength to his team mates, which has been the problem throughout his career. Good individual ability but unable to function as part of a unit.

Dele has been excellent though

Maura didn't play much with Dele, Kane, Dier.. thus ;)

Sissoko is constantly fucking Aurier over, who now seems devoid of confidence as a result..

Not sure it's Sissoko forcing Aurier to constantly go lunging in for stupid challenges and then missing them to be fair...

can't fault him for effort, but Sissoko literally having to be told where to stand by Poch is a bit of an indictment

Kane is struggling no dynamism seems flat footed, treading water. Last few games at the WC and today just doesn't seem himself.

Lively opening 20, then faded a bit after the second goal. We’re controlling the game but making some sloppy mistakes. Feel like we need a 3rd to kill the game off.

Need to get Eriksen on the ball, as once again we are devoid of creativity and moving the ball too slowly. Don’t exactly look rock solid at the back either.

Still, excellent 2nd goal.

The best thing was hearing Poch shout "back Moussa, back, he's free everytime! No not that far back Moussa!" when Newcastle has a throw-in by the dugout, I think it's pretty telling that a simple instruction like following the spare man back on a throw in has to be instructed to a professional footballer, a premier league player at that.

One fantastic cross aside Aurier has been really poor, seeing him and Sissoko on the same side is just painful.

This newcastle team are there to be got at. They ain't good.

However since dele scored we've allowed ourselves to be dragged down to their level, as per with spurs. Sissoko and Aurier are so suspect, davies isn't much better.

If it's 2 1 when rondon comes on and bullies us we could be in trouble, our arse will go. Hopefully we start on the front foot and get a 3rd to ease us home with the points.

Dele and Dier are playing well, kane and eriksen haven't quite got through the gears yet

been really impressed by our set pieces thus far tho - looks like we might actually have some decent routines lined up!
