That was great but i'll temper the joy by saying Newcastle are in disarray right now & it was a great time to play them.
Only Stoke vs us have been worse IMO, and I know they had chances but the stats lie for this game: they were awful, we were great.

Very pleased and I suspect Andre will have a rueful smile on his face tonight knowing that a team designed similar to his has gone out and trounced someone.

Good times, Well done Tim.

Phenomomenal away record of 9 wins and 2 draws = 29 points
But only 6 wins and 3 draws = 21 points, at home from the same number of games.

Its a good job we are playing Liverpool at Anfield!

Was worried we'd never get what we got tonight out of Kaboul again. World class player. Hope he can stay healthy because him and Jan as a CB pairing is as good as we thought it could be.
Forget just how quick and powerful Kaboul is. I think giving Jan the captaincy will improve him too.

Isn't it something like Hughton has made 63 subs and not one has scored or got an assist. Won't be us who got him sacked.

That stat has me worried now, you know how ex players always seem to come back and haunt us!! Sorry, even after a 4-0 away win you can't kick the pessimist out of an old yid!!

has the moaning started yet? :p

We were wasteful, we should've scored at least 8. I don't like the way Lloris had to make a save. Naughton played. Oh, and Bentaleb's hair didn't look symmetrical, his barber needs to be sacked.

I was critical of the team lineup when I saw it but I'm definitely happy with us lining up Paulinho - Capoue - Bentelab.

That midfield has much better balance. Difficult to get too carried away as Newcastle have now lost 5 games at home in a row including cup but still it's our most convincing win. Capoue was still a bit rusty but overall played well.

I hope we go with this sort of setup for the rest of the season home and away. Once Lamela gets in that team with Chadli or Townsend on the right it will add another level. Eriksen can play in the midfield 3 or the attacking 3 so we have options there.

I've wanted us to play 4-3-3 for ages so i'm happy tonight.

What did Lennon do so wrong today?
He's just dire going forward. Can't read attacks for shit and should really be more savvy for the level of experience that he now has.

He hasn't progressed as a footballer. Plateaued long ago and is still there.

Now and again he turns it all up a few notches, but other than that it's the same dead-end stuff.

Good squad option, but just not a starter.

But with goal difference we are 4 points off going ahead of them, thats 2 games more they have to slip up in. 12 games to go

I'd keep an eye on Arsenal to be honest, have you seen their March fixtures? We are 6 points behind them and still have to play them at the Lane.

he has regressed since 2010, my issue is that he is the worst player in the first 11 and seems undroppable. Chadli did more in 25 mins than Lenin during the whole match!
