Awful end to a wonderful season. Clearly the capitulation in the title race has destroyed our desire this season, which is shameful. However at least management have clearly seen that the likes of Mason, Chadli, Carroll all really need upgrading upon if we want to compete next season

You know, people like you are a disgrace. You only come on here to push your negative rubbish. It's not about being happy clappy, it's about seeing how a young team has progressed playing what has been acknowledged as the best football. That we failed trying to reach the top is nothing to be ashamed of. The Gooners may be crowing, but they only play well when the pressure is off.

'Failed trying to reach the top'?

Is that what you call losing to relegated, ten men Newcastle on the last day of the season, when all we needed was a draw to finish above our rivals for the first time in 20 years?

You're a happy clapper, and a moron.

You should be ashamed.

No bullshit people. The minute the title was lost and the second Poch got his new contract the players and manager gave up.

The past few results are a big middle finger to the hard working Spurs fans everywhere.

Can't even beat AVB's points total? Fucking joke.

This hurts so much. 20 years plus I have waited to finally get one over those ****s.

Still, we have the inevitable Instagrams coming from the players on their holidays...holidays that two thirds of season ticket holders can't afford.

Utter scum.

Utter, utter scum.

Thanks you have saved me typing how i feel......

I don't feel the players have done us proud though. I was proud but that dissappeared in the 2nd half against chelsea. Our lack of professionalism since then has just totally undermined all the good feeling from earlier in the season. They are a bunch of kids who've lost the plot, and poch has done a terrible job of controlling them.

I said the same thing after the Chelsea game and got shot down. All i heard was "great fight" and "great to see some grit"
The Chelsea game was a joke, and the players should of been embarrassed, not revered. Totally deflated right now, but cant help but feel we got what we deserved in the end.

I've read 2 pages of this thread and frankly I can't bare to read anymore.

It's not the team that are pathetic. It's not even the performance that was pathetic (disappointing, yes). Nor is finishing below the goons pathetic.

It's half of the whiney, entitled, small minded posters on here that are pathetic.

Man the fuck up and stop embarrassing yourselves and the rest of all Spurs fans.

Fucking hell, it's like Rawk on here

Get a grip people, we've finished 3rd with the youngest squad in the Prem. Today's result was disappointing, but it should'nt overshadow what has been a really good season.
Fuck off with this shit. If you don't feel like dying after today then you have no right to call yourself a supporter.
Your making yourself sound a right pick

Radical new theory: none of this really matters, and we're all idiots for getting worked up about it.

Might try working from that one for a while...

It's a real shame there are no qualifications required to be a fan hence some of the moronic comments every time we lose.

Rather then mock because I don't think they would understand it anyway I think I will start blocking which means two things.

1) Proper conversations with real fans
2) I'm going to be very busy blocking :)

It's amazing. If anyone had said at the start of the season we would finish 3rd I'd have laughed. Now we have, I feel like crying and not out of happiness. There are so many positives over the season but that performance has just left me with a sick empty feeling.

but wait...we lost one game to Newcastle and Arsenal finished above us by 1 point.

But 4/5 games ago how many points in front of them were we?? A good season has been totally fucked up in the space of a few weeks, its difficult to hide from that fact......... We have some CL football to look forward too but next season will be extremely difficult to gain it imo

It seems like every time we have been asked the question this season we have failed miserably.

Yes! We qualified for the Champions League! We have the best defence and best GD in the league! Harry Kane wins the golden boot! We also have the youngest squad with the most potential and everyone "in the know" is raving about us

but wait...we lost one game to Newcastle and Arsenal finished above us by 1 point.

Well let's just fuck it all. Sack everyone! Fuck the stadium off and sulk all summer.

or....

Get a fucking grip! Enjoy the Euros this summer. Look forward the the new additions Poch will surely make and watch us improve next season.

Your completely right it's has been a great season and I think we all would have taken it at the start of the season. But the players can't understand the fans and how much it would have meant for us to finally finish above Arsenal.
I thought this side was different and had a stronger mentality, desire and toughness

First four games 3 points
Last four games 2 points
Eight games 5 points

The 30 games inbetween outstanding...nay exhilarating

Under the cloud of that game, one moan from me, so we put in piss poor performances in the cups so we could finish strongly? My arse.

[QUOTE="Stevenage Spur, post: 5060438, member: 13329" Don't slag off the players that have generally done us proud.[/QUOTE]
They players switched off weeks ago & have been on their holidays.. why wouldn't fans be angry & disgusted with that attitude.. there have been some great moments this season & we have praised the players accordingly.. however maybe just maybe we as fans are sick of Spurs been a laughing stock & finally we have a chance not to be laughed at but respected & what do we get holiday camp football.. imo the players deserve every bit of criticism they get for that shameful performance.
