So, while we’re still sitting on out hands:

City: Signing Kovacic
Arse: Working on Rice for months
United: Circling Kane.
Newcastle: Signing Veiga, one of Real’s top targets.
Liverpool: Apponted DOF, Signing Mac Allister, Van der Ven.
Brighton: Signed Joao Pedro
Villa: Signing Asensio.
Yeah, that's what happens when you have no one to make any decisions. Clubs are sometimes working on transfers (especially crucial ones) for months, whereas we are currently struggling to find out what kind of club we want to be.

So that's one confirmed signing then.

While we're sitting on our hands, the top seven clubs above us have signed one whole fucking player.

Indeed, if you want to cover the whole of the Premier League, there have been three signings. Burnley have picked up a player and Brentford have just got a new keeper.

Three whole signings.

While we sit on our hands and are in no way being linked to players like the other clubs are.

I mean, there are just no links for Spurs to Raya, or Laporte, or Solomon, or Ndicka or anyone, no sirree.

Look, yes, I agree, our situation isn't ideal. Indeed, it's highly fucking annoying.

But can we not pretend that stuff that hasn't happened yet has actually happened just to make things seem worse for us. Because it hasn't happened yet. In the same way that Mudryk and Caicedo to Arsenal was going to happen, and there was much wailing and gnashing of teeth, but then it never did.

When it does happen, then, maybe then, let's have a big fucking moan. But, until then, can we just dial it down a bit, do you think?

Rice might be going to Bayern

"circling Kane" LOL

Liverpool took two years to appoint a DOF.

You're posting paper talk as facts.

What do you mean sitting on our hands? We’ve appointed Nagelsmann, Slot, Ange, Potter, Rodgers and Enrique in that time.

I wish I could winner this multiple times! Spot on Undead One, perfectly articulated. Bravo 👏👏👏👏

It would definitely be nice if could unveil both the new manager and DoF together as show of unity and cohesiveness which probably means, it will not happen...

If “circling” people counts then I’d say we have had a very productive manager search so far!!!

Not sure if it's been mentioned on this thread yet but surely Ryan Mason is a good candidate for DOF. He knows the club inside out and from what we hear is very well respected by everyone at the club.

Lol. How many of those have actually signed? Or are you just reading media links as gospel and using it as another club to beat Levy with?

Stop getting so angry about things that haven't happened. They may well happen and if they do? Cool. Doesn't mean these clubs will automatically be better. The signings could flop for all we know.

Missing the point, mate. None of these signings may happen, but the clubs are active, planning, working to get better. Big signings don’t just happen in a week anymore, they are planned and worked on for months.

We’re gonna be behind the curve for most of this year, and have already handicapped the next coach with our shambolic operation.

What's the difference between those links and Spurs links to Maddison, Raya etc then? We were linked with them for a few months or even years in case of Maddison

That we’ve allegedly put a stop to them waiting for the new regime. Are Maddison and Raya gonna be impressed with our approach when they have multiple clubs chasing them?

Wasn't there an article yesterday saying we were talking to targeted players and informing them of the managerial search? So does that not disprove your point?

Links are links. Not every media link is 100% true. I'll wait until those players have actually been announced and signed before even considering losing my mind over it (which I won't at all, because what they do does not affect me as as a fan).
