Sack Conte today and get Poch in as Interim, as he is available. He loves the club and know many of the players and i am sure the players will get a boost with him coming in. Let him see out the season and if its a success then give him a contract in summer. If not then go for someone else, and we can move on.

Eitherway Conte needs to fuck off asap!

Will be so us that we fire Conte and hire Tuchel after they had the handshake feud. Can't make such thing up except from Tottenham Hotspur.

Just watched Benfica and Schmidt really has been a revelation there.

My concern with him is that his third season goes awry but maybe he's growing.

But I am adding him to my list;

Gallardo
De Zerbi
Amorim
Schmidt
Poch
Similar to my list:

1. Tuchel (very good tactician, plays positive football and incredibly flexible tactically. Apparently is a Spurs fan, articulate and knows the league. Don’t care he’s ex-Chelsea, we’d be crazy not to consider him imo)

2. Gallardo (I don’t watch a lot of Argentinian football, but the times I’ve seen River play, I love their swashbuckling, but controlled style)

3. Luis Enrique (Really like how he sets up his teams, very articulate and improves players)

4. De Zerbi (what he did at Sassuolo was incredible…. Not in terms of points or league position but the WAY in which he transformed their playing style)

5. Schmidt (I watch a lot of Liga Nos… he’s been a revelation at Benfica. Not sure he’d get the same squad overhaul with us though. Luisao needs to take a lot of credit for also)

6. Amorim (I’m a big fan of his. Really sets up his team to play on the front foot, yet still with good defensive control and flexibility)

All the above are better options than Poch imo…

Kinda not anymore....

For the record I'm not convinced Pochettono is the right choice.
I can’t think of anyone who is the right choice or anyone who will succeed, so I’d be happy with Poch (more than tbh), provided he is given time and actually does a rebuild, but let’s be honest it will be slow and we will be battling for a top 6 position, city, Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea, utd and now Newcastle too…

I don’t want Tuchel as much prefer Poch or De Zerbi etc but I was thinking:
1. He’s a spurs fan
2. He outcoached Conte big time 3-4x in a row
3. His teams do actually press and his Dortmund team played really nice football
4. He’s much more likeable than Conte/Jose etc

As I said I don’t think he’s a good fit for us and there are tons of better options but my Q is so the majority on here think Tuchel is a better coach than Conte & Jose and do you think he would’ve done a better job than they did for us? I do and I think he’d actually do an ok job but again I don’t think he’s the right fit for us and we need a different profile of coach and a longer term project.
Just curious but why don't you think he'd be a good fit for us? You've listed some positive things but then say won't be a good fit. I don't know him well enough so wondering why?

I really want Tuchel above all else. He can speak really well and has experience in the league already. To me he has unfinish business in the league which he will be very eager and passionate to prove it once again.

I actually thought he may have gotten us a win over Milan if he came in before the game, and could have gone all the way into tournament. Far fetch I know, but he could well be the wild card for that.

Anyway, 3rd ex chelscum manager to come, so be it. Perhaps third's a charm...?

Good chance for Tuchel to prove he's better than Conte. We need someone in now so they get a few months with Kane to try & convince him to stick around

Tuchal won't end well because of the same reasons Jose and Conte didn't end well. He'll be sulking when levy does t buy who he wants.
Don’t all managers sulk though? Don’t you remember how Poch was for the last year(ish) of his time? The whole “the club should change my job title” thing?
