It's not like you to be a Negative Nelly..

I remember my Sister saying to me donkeys years ago 'Our family motto should be Expect nothing, then you won't be disappointed'. She was dead right.

Weren't we fighting tooth and nail to get Nagelsmann after Poch, before he went to Bayern?

I think waiting around for him resulted in the absolute shitshow leading up to getting Nuno after pissing off many managers.

I hope we don't make the same mistake again.

I just want someone who plays a front foot, entertaining style.

I honestly think if we get that fans will galvanise. Under Poch for a period, there was such an amazing feeling at games both home and away. The feeling that something was happening and we were getting stronger and building a really strong togetherness.

To have that feeling again would be so good.

If anyone wants to get better knowledge of his tactics your not going to get better then this where he goes into detail about them himself. The subs are a little bit off here and there but on the whole its fine.

I don’t think he’s necessarily a big name. He was the next big thing a couple of years ago but it hasn’t worked out at Bayern for him (though it hasn’t for anyone there for a few years.)

I don’t know enough about the guy to know if he’s the right fit.
I just don't want a manager joining us and taking a step down. I think we build positivity at the club by playing good football and having a manager that genuinely sees us as a club he can achieve with.

IMHO the point of questioning Nagelsman is that Bayern are THE team in Germany and they typically outspend other teams in Germany, they have won the Bundesliga for the last ten years and if he struggles to win in that situation how the hell is he expected to succeed with us?

There are a lot of people on SC saying we should never have hired Jose or Conte because they need money to succeed, so we are now flirting with a manager who has money but is struggling to succeed at the top club in his country, makes no sense. And if I am not mistaken RBL won the German cup after Nagelsmann left so I am not sure we can use his time with them as a good enough reason to appoint - unless we just want to play a style of football that is more pleasing on the eye. Personally I want to win stuff - we played some nice football at times under Poch and won nothing , been there, done that.

The one thing we haven't tried is to appoint a proven winner and only buy him the actual players he asks for. As I have posted previously, if we cannot afford to do that in one or two transfer windows then the project should be to do it over 3 season or so (6 windows).
This is the kind of reasoning that I was referring to. It basically says we're too good for the likes of Nagelsman and much as it pains me to say so, we ain't we just ain't.
If he is too much of a risk then there really is nobody who isn't.

Full backs high would suit Porro and Udogie. With the other tucking into the 6 position. Would also make Sonny a lot more effective again.

What if the pissed off players are the ones we want to keep ?

Back the manager; ensure we have a player that can step in for any position. Kulusevski not playing well, or not getting on with the manager? Bench him for someone else (not Lucas). Time to stop this cycle.

In my opinion it's an absolute gift from heaven if we can get Julian over the line. As discussed by many, there has been plenty of interest in him historically from the club, that will be exactly the same this time round.

JN was managing well seasoned pros at Bayern..it's a completely different dynamic to say red bull where he was before. Give him young players like alot of what we have and no reason to believe he wouldn't be a success like he was before Bayern.

Still don't think we'll get him but surely Levy has to try.

Get them both, Rangnick to replace Paratici together with Nagelsmann would bring the structure we so dearly need.
