Di Marzio:
Chelsea rate him very high and may push to get it done soon: the Blues could even find an agreement in the coming days in order to have Nagelsmann on the bench as the coach next season, as he's not keen on joining with just a few games until the end of the season.

Why the fuck have we not acted decisively like a big club and got him signed on for next season already? Chelsea seemingly have him on board already. Absolutely fucking pathetic.

Because he probably doesn’t want to join us. I’m amazed anyone thinks we had a chance. He’d be crazy to join Chelsea though.

We will be the last club to appoint a manager of all the clubs who or will sack their managers because that is what our board does dithers with every attempt to appoint someone. We we will be left with some no hoper because he’ll be cheap and a yes man to Levy

Potter has been completely outshone by Roberto De Zerbi, who looks a massive improvement in every single area.

Potter and Brenda were found out, the latter took a little longer.

He has made some fuck ups over the years. That can't be denied.

Putin or Levy?

Jokes aside that’s why being fair in criticism is so important. If he gets blamed for everything in the world and isn’t given recognition for things that do well, then It completely dilutes and distracts from the real fuck ups

Nagelsmann would be a weird choice for them lot. He’s another young manager who needs time to implement his style. Plus he falls out with big ego players. If they wanted to give up on Potter I’m surprised they’re not aiming for someone a bit more seasoned, not sure who though. Doubt he’ll last the season if they keep scattergun signing players all summer. We’ve still got loads of options though, no pressure Daniel.

All managers have to learn the trade somewhere and I have nothing against going for someone that isn't tested in the Premier League.

I think Slot is quite fortunate that Ajax and PSV are not the teams they once were.
I have no issues with going for someone untested in the PL, indeed my top picks are Gallardo and Nagelsmann. Your right about Ajax and PSV, they are both weak at the moment. Ajax especially despite being second. Shadow of the team they were last season.

There's a lot of things to criticise Levy for and I'm fully on-board with that. We need them out.

But 10 days ago, Nagelsmann wasn't even a possibility.

Looks like we tried for Tuchel.

Slot, Amorim, De Zerbi and Ange all in jobs and objectives to achieve.

I wouldn't be surprised if we approached Nagelsmann but due to timing he's said he needs to wait. Understandable.

From the ITK, it does sound like the club have decided to go ahead and chase other targets rather than wait for Nagelsmann.

If we had done that and then lost out on him, we would be even more annoyed.

The question now is, have coaches like Slot, Kompany, Ange, De Zerbi always been top of our list?

Nagelsmann wouldn't have been sk may have been a stab in the dark. Gotta try but he was always gonna wait for other options.

If so, then I don't think they can be criricised on this occasion too much.

Now, if Rodgers and Potter join the list, that would reek of incompetence.

Adding Nagelsmann to it would be the right thing to do because he fits.

Rodgers and Potter don't.

We are not an elite club and never will be under ENIC. We are only an option for high profile managers if nothing else is avaliable to them in all honesty.

Coming off the back of managing Bayern, honestly feel it won't take too long for someone like Nagelsmann to get frustrated with the way we operate and question Levy/ENIC'S ambitions. Not totally ruling it out but the bigger teams will have first pick.

Sadly, just think we need to realise what we are. We have no track record of consistently competing for the big tropies. The other top 6 clubs have all won the PL, 3 of them the CL and numerous domestics cups between them while we last one something 15 years ago.

Thats why can't help but think we are a better fit for someone up and coming who sees us a stepping stone to enhance his own reputation and is not too fixated on winning things. Get us punching above our weight for a few years before it inevitably goes downhill again and we are back at square one. That's probably our lot under the current ownership.
look as much as i want to blame levy for everything, we have to remember that JN has to agree to come to us. We could've offered him 15 mil a year and maybe he goes to another club for 10 mil because he knows they will give him whatever players he wants. I want someone committed for the long haul. Conte flip flopping about being with us was infuriating. If he comes great, if not lets be ready to move on and go to next plan.
Chelsea spend their budget for few windows with players tied to very long contracts, he is welcome to this shamble of a club yet some say we are graveyard for managers and we are in crisis 😂😂😂

Dutch manager will end up like most of the Dutch players who come to prem. full of promise and fail to deliver.

Of course we had a chance. In many ways we are the perfect club for someone like Nagelsmann to go to after Bayern. Most rational spurs fans acknowledge we now need a project manager who needs to be shown patience and support through the rough and the smooth. Chelsea by comparison is utter career suicide. They’ve just tried a project manager and binned him before he even had a pre season.

It feels quite inevitable that Nagelsmann will join Chelsea, if he does I’m glad this has happened now. I’d much rather he rule himself out of the job at Spurs so the club and focus elsewhere.

Personally I’d love us to go all in for Slot.

Assuming Naglesmann goes to Chelsea I would take Potter but only if Kane stays.

Potter’s coaching coupled with a world class striker has huge potential.

From what I've been reading he doesn't like playing with a striker. He's a no for me after the crap footy he served up at Chelsea.

Low risk, high reward.

They’re currently in the shit, he’s already worked with the DoF previously. Is out of work (no comp package needed), is young and will want to prove Bayern wrong.

His UCL record will get their bollocks tingling too.
