Sounds like he's dealing with internal issues with the squad with Neuer, the goalkeeping coach, 3 consectutive 1-1 draws and now Gnabyr going to Fashion week on his day off etc. If they somehow fail to win the Bundesliga and are humiliated in the CL, his position might be at risk.
No way in hell we get Nagglesman! I’d love him here but no chance.

i feel like its bad juju to be talking about it now right after conte's surgery, but should he leave in the summer, I sincerely hope we at least try to lure kompany.

It doesn’t matter who the manager is they will still be handicapped by Levy and his refusal to spend and improve the team proactively. We need Conte to stay but it does look like the writing is on the wall unfortunately.

As much as I'd love a De Zerbi type as it would be so damn fun to watch, I think it's really important that we prioritise a manager that plays, or can play, with wingbacks. Would be very typical Spurs if we brought in a manger who needs conventional full-backs after we've spent like 80m on specialist wingbacks and sold our fullbacks.

That would be the likes of:

Amorim
Tuchel
Naglesmann
I guess Poch can play with wingbacks too but not sold on the idea of bringing him back.

I think it always depends on what other clubs need managers when he's on the market. People thought we had no chance of getting Conte a couple of years ago and we managed to get him since he had no better offers. If Naglesmann is free and no other top teams need a manager/want him then I think we've got a shot - amazing stadium, London, big salary and managing in the PL make us an attractive prospect.

It's a pretty small pool of clubs that he'd realistically go to post-Bayern - only about 7 or 8 - and I think we're just about in that group so we're in with a shot. I can't see a club like Madrid going for him but I think he'd pick a Chelsea or Liverpool over us, so really depends on the market.

Is there any word on Nagelsmann being let go by Bayern? I always felt he was the perfect fit for us, other than Ten Hag.
They keep having these poor runs of form this year. If they lose to PSG, would see it as pretty inevitable he goes.

Poch is the sentimental choice that's hard to turn down, but has anything really changed? I love him to bits but I don't know. My thought for a while has been Luis Enrique, but unsure he'll want to do it.

I think after the year Conte has had in his personal life, regardless of footballing matters, he will go back home and I don't in the slightest blame him. I genuinely feel for the guy.
For me the next manager will be Poch, Tuchel or Gallardo ( and I don't particularly want Tuchel).

After the club’s response to the THST questions, there’s not a chance in hell that Conte stays. That part is clear. And it won’t make a blind bit of difference who replaces him.

Have Burnely been playing some really good football? I know they top the table but haven't watched a game so no clue on how the team is playing.

Yep play some really good stuff. Although they take a lot of gambles.

Why? What should they have said differently that would change the situation re Conte?

He lost 3 key players though, including key midfielders to Fulham and wolves

He's done very well. Strange to think hes not pulling up trees after winning a league and cup and then having them in 3rd where they should be aftrer losing key players

I'm not sure why you think that? I mean if he had signed a contract then yes I think you're right, but the fact that he hasn't and so indicates that he is going. Hence this is self generated by Conte.

Obviously very unlikely to happen, but what would you say about switching things up and go for a possibly soon-to-be former Liverpool manager for once? :X3:
