Very impressive but I hope the board haven't approved him on the basis that they'll expect him to happy with a paltry transfer budget and to work miracles.
you know they have. leaves more money for other club endeavors like the F1 track and starting up our THFC Space Program. We may not dare for the league but we'll shoot for the stars

how much of an ITK is dragon1?

just thinking if it gets a bit toxic on Saturday and 60,000 are singing for Poch, would or could that potentially sway Levy?
only because there pissed off...not because they really want him

Spurs tinted, mate, what's going on here is the worst under LEvy's reign but to suggest that Chelsea is some sort of project is literally hilarious

They are run by an investment company with the sole purpose to increase the club value for sale in 15 years, that means big initial investment before making it self sustainable like Liverpool did.

Problem is Chelsea have financial that they inherited and will have to curtail that investment for the next year. The other problem is they have too many players and European clubs are broke. The other problem is that this seasons signings turn 22 meaning added with those returning from loan and the new restricted loan rules. The perfect storm is brewing at Chelsea.

Not to mention they have 5/6 players on short term contracts that need to extend or they will leave on a free in the next 16 months with the homegrown ones being much harder to replace

Chelsea are the bigger club since 2003 but there's major issues on their horizon

Amorim or Nagelsmann, saying our clubs culture puts them off but then to join Chelsea is retarded since they have the worst club culture in the PL that is only accepted due to them winning trophies.

You’ve just described spurs.

While I agree with you in that we need to continue investing heavily and the next manager shouldn't be shackled with a shoestring budget, it's also important that whoever we bring in is a good fit for our transfer setup.

It's clear that we intend to continue making signings such as Gil, Spence, Udogie, Sarr, etc., so the next manager needs to have a willingness to work with young talents rather than dismiss them as "club signings" and refuse to play them. Of course, we also need to continue signing ready-made senior players (such as the likes of Romero, Bentancur, Kulusevski, Richarlison, Bissouma, etc.), but the new boss needs to be willing to meet the club halfway.

I dont want us to have any "club signings". We should have a DoF and manager who share the same philosophy. The final say on a player should always be the manager imo.

You got some statistical evidence to back that up?

I am all aboard the Slot train, even though I didn't know who he was last week and have never seen any of the sides he has managed play even for a second.

I do find it hard to imagine if JN wanted to join spurs we wouldn't go for him. Surely he is the number 1 target

Might be giving the board too much credit but if it is Slot then this isn’t going to be announced until the end of both seasons, surely?

The longer this goes on with no news the more I think that could be the case

If this is the case I'd like us to get it done and announced if possible so the fans have same hope and ease the doom and gloom

Let's put some perspective here. You think feyenoord would allow us to talk to slot whilst they are on the brink of a treble?

I know there are some that are going to be upset if Naglesmann goes to Chelsea but I honestly believe Slot is the prime target anyway, and has been for over a week.
I hope this is a case where an overwhelming majority is in favor of this. Get most/everyone on board and decide on the club vision. Hopefully speaking/will speak to Slot about that so everyone understands the vision and ideology the club should be following for the long term. That is the best bet for the club finding long term sustainable success. Much prefer this to a reactionary panic appointment now/in the summer; I hope this is the case.
