Didn't say I wouldn't get behind them. Just don't agree that they are who we should be looking at.There's no right or wrong answer. It would be nice if people can get behind the next choice even if it isn't their choice(s).

Why does it matter if he has managed Chelsea? I can't really think you can blame him for the state Chelsea are in. He was at the club for 6 months. Why does Potters name keep coming up still?
1. Ex Chelsea
2. Look at where he left Chelsea
3. Ex fucking Chelsea
This is exactly the reason why the wheels slowly started coming off after Paul Mitchell left, used to identify players with certain characteristics/traits and build the team.I am coming around to that - sort-of.
But, really I think manager is the least of our worries right now. We need to sort out the squad the summer. We may need to take a step back, and so we don't need to replace/buy big money players - but we need an attitude transformation that will only come with new players coming in to work their socks off for the new manager.

What an underwhelming possible 3 managers for Spurs if it is Ange, Slot and Kompany.
None of them worked out, but let's be honest most of us would have appointed Mourinho and Conte if it came down to it. The mistake was not backing Poch.Thought Conte was Levy's last chance?
Apparently not.
After Mourhinio Nuno and Conte anyone of the three would be a welcome change.

All of his managerial appointments have been bad for us with the lucky exception of Poch, who was his second choice...Levy keeps appointing ex-Chelsea managers…and not one of them has been any good for us!
IMO if it was going to be Poch, he’d be here already. It’s going to be Poch isn’t it?
Can’t see the timings working out any other way…
(For the record, I’d be happy with Poch, but Kompany is the one I want in - something about the idea is intriguing.)

Yes. Ignoring the Nuno appointment who, lets be honest, we all knew would be an omnishambles the minute it was made considering the manner in which it was made, the last time I was thoroughly underwhelmed by a new man was when Poch was announced. Not necessarily. There was a thought that we would take a step back under Poch, but he was able to make the collective better than the individuals.
A good manager (and coach) could take a minor step back, to take a big step forward. A young team, full of energy and promise will keep the fans on-side for a season,

Misery loves the same joke being repeated many many times in this thread..Misery loves Kompany…
The other thing about Kompany is that one would hope he'd know how to spot and coach the new centre backs that we so desperately need. One thing about Kompany is he's converted a dull Burnley brand of football into an exciting one. That's exactly what we need because we're honestly not that far off that brand of football.
Great or simple minds. My guess is the latterMisery loves the same joke being repeated many many times in this thread..
