The poll is a lie, most of us want Nagelsmann, it seems people have just accepted Slot is more likely so voted for him
Who do you WANT next. Not who do you think it'll be.

The poll is accurate. Unless you're suggesting that a huge chunk of SC are idio............erm, yeah OK, i'll shut up

Christian Gross may have succeeded if the players bought into what he wanted to do.
i suppose the sign of a good coach is getting players to buy into what you want to do. Back in the day Wenger succeeded in doing so whereas Gross didn’t.

I don’t think Slot will have any problems in that regard.

Can’t wait until we start smashing teams every week and they call us “The Slot Machine”.
Either that or it will be because the club takes all our money and gives nothing back.
Was going to say this one yesterday and then Herc's info landed :)

I'm not disputing anything that Herc or anyone else is saying but I remain convinced we won't see a manager/DOF combo in place until mid-July at the earliest

I just don't believe we have any idea what we're doing at all and by the time we work it out we'll yet again be a month or so behind the curve

Every signing or managerial appointment is a gamble. It’s not just about whether they are a good coach but also how they fit the needs and identity of the club. That’s how you end up with the huge contrast between Graham Potter at Brighton vs Graham Potter at Chelsea. Slot meets our current requirements more than any other manager I’ve seen linked.

Our fans simply won’t tolerate another defensive, anti-possession manager, and the last 24 hours shows how easily our fan base could warm to Slot as a fella which would help breed a bit of patience amongst fans.

Disagree with this. I was all for Nagelsmann when he was first linked whilst also banging the Slot drum. How do you know peoples reasoning for voting Slot over Nagelsmann? I have no idea either but assume it possibly has something to do with the fact that Slot is extremely open to joining us and excited by the prospect of managing us whereas it seems Nagelsmann isn't as enthusiastic. I don't know about most of us, but I for one want a manager who is desperate to manage us. I said a month or so back that Slot was very interested in joining us despite reports at the time saying he wouldn't leave Holland. I genuinely believe he would be a brilliant appointment, he's extremely likeable, plays exactly the type of football we've all been crying out for and he absolutely improves players. He just ticks so many boxes for us. Not sure re smokescreen info etc, but from my side Slot is almost nailed on for it.

Winner winner chicken dinner. Although I thought Nagelsmann could have been good, there were niggles for me. His work at Hoffenheim was excellent as was RBLeipzig but the latter is a phenomenally well run club. A bit like DeZerbi I'd like to see some evidence of him coming into a dysfunctional team and impressing his style and philosophy on it. Slot has that for me and therefore he's always been the one I've wanted most

A good mate over here is a Feyenoord fan, and I've been chatting to him about Slot over the last few weeks (he absolutely loves him and the football they've been playing). He was quite confident he'd stay until this morning, when I woke up to this text.

"Kökcu talking to Spurs now apparently. I'd be super happy if you guys would get him.
Bit confused with this part...is he saying Kokcu is not decent and happy to see the back of him or just happy to see a good player move to Spurs?
