Is there any link to us returning to DoF's that were previously Nagelsmann's choice(s) per chance?

Really clutching now granted but I'm struggling to see the next move this club makes otherwise.

De Zerbi
Alonso
Kompany
Amorim
Pochettino
Slot

Nagelsmann (tentatively)
Gallardo (fucking please!)
Postecoglou

Outside of this, Jesus......
Basically 100% this.

Love the narrative forming here that is Spurs fault for missing out on Slot rather than him being convinced to stay at his League winning and soon to be Champions League competing side? The entitlement is real!!

Exactly and slot says there have been no conversations...Default behaviour seems to to be if something fails it's always Levy's fault. Getting boring, could well be correct but none of it is based on fact

Aside from Everton and currently Chelsea, we’re actually the worst run club in the league now.

Depressing. My Nan could do a better job running our football club.

Have to pray for a good manager but you know we’re getting someone shit and defensive.

It's slightly worrying that the Nagelsmann talks don't seem completely dead and we aren't balls to the wall going for Slot. If we continue pissing around i'm worried slot will just get fucked off with it all and tell us to do one. The indecisiveness of our board is so frustrating, Slot clearly wants us and if JN is out we need to just get it done.

We're in danger of missing out on the top 2 targets because no one up top seems to know what the fuck they want. We'll end up with the 3rd or 4th choice if we don't pull our fingers out.
Posted this Sunday.

Didn't want to be right but look how it's panned out.

Absolutely sick to death on how this club is run, it's getting beyond a joke now.

Unless we get in JN we will end up with the 4th or 5th or 6th choice from what we originally wanted. Unbelievable but not surprising. Who the fuck would want to work under the shit show that is Daniel Levy.

I know we are a totally shit show but him joining felt like a formality

I guess we will find out in the fullness of time whether this is on Levy again or whether Slot played us

My brother has been consistently saying its going to be a really tough season for us next year. Reckon he might be right, players read about what's been going on, it can't instil confidence that we are going to appoint the right manager. We are choosing the cheapest seeming manager

The messaging out of the club and controlling the media has got so bad in recent years. Admittedly it was never high but it’s been truly shambolic recently.

Everything appears to be a clusterfuck, even the most straight forward transfer. Now it would mean that there are too many cooks sending conflicting messages to third parties, or Levy is so frazzled that he’s lost the plot.

Anyway hope Ryan Mason does us proud next season.

The sheer endless incompetence of the people running the club is reaching levels that I don’t think any of us ever anticipated. Even those who have hated Levy for years hated his approach and some of his decisions — I’m pretty sure they didn’t think he was simply this inept.

We’ll end up with Rodgers or Mason in charge and I can’t see our fans giving either any time as either appointment would be so unpopular, and can’t see either doing anything to shift the initial impression of their appointment. It’s a complete shitshow once again. It was inexcusable when the club fucked up the manager search in 2021, and if (as looks likely/is already happening) they repeat it this summer it will be beyond inexcusable.

I have no idea what Tottenham Hotspur either is currently or what they’re trying to be, but even after loving this club for over 30 years I’m struggling to find it in me to support it any longer.

There are other very very good candidates available. I mean Nagelsmann and Gallardo are right there. This really doesn’t have to be a disaster. Question is will Levy pick wisely.

One thing is for certain, now there is zero excuse not to tie up a DoF asap.

Not that I want him, but considering recent reports wont Amorim go to the top of the list now? ITK said we had positive talks. I just hope we get in a DoF who actually has a vision. We aren't getting anywhere with Levy and Munn.

I could get behind a project with Ange or Amorim.

It's Glasner that scares me as a lesser anti attacking Conte type. I'm not a guy who worships Fab but he tweeted/retweeted info on Glasner saying something along the lines of "new project soon" as if he just has some inside info.. hahaha

I got Glasner at 25/1 a while back.

Right. I'm gonna need one of the plane-tracking weirdos to source Ryan Reynolds' number and £10,000 from each of you to make up the £1.5 billion he'll be short.

Until Daniel realised that managers are quite keen to have some kind of control to make things work, how can we expect anything to change!?

Give me a reason to give you £1010 again Daniel..

Trying a bit of reverse psychology seeing as the wee man is f*cking up the other managers I wanted:

Brendan or Mason for me please.

If this doesn’t make the Lewis family decide that Levy is not a good custodian for the £1bn+ they have invested in Spurs what will?

Doesn't matter, what would they do fire levy ? can't see then paying £1bn for his shares.

But that's a debate for another thread.....

Some optimism from Hercules - and bear in mind he is the first to let rip. Saying that, as things stand, it would appear that our recruitment process would appear to be as wayward as last time.
