You can indeed run a football club just based on numbers. What you can't do is run a successful one.

But you can if the one who your accountable to, views success different to the us fans Old Joe more than happy with what Levy delivers for him year in year out... for any real change, required bums off seats from fans and for a prolonged period to boot... is that a fair ask though.....

I understand the anger. Levy has blown an excellent chance to establish the club as a genuine year after year contender. I have no confidence he will fix the problems.

But I enjoy going to the games. And it’s a shared interest with my son - I get to see him at least 19 times a year.

And I’ve supported Spurs through worse regimes than Levy (Irving Scholar and Alan Sugar were worse).

So I respect your decision but I’m going to renew my season ticket and keep on going.

I have found this the most depressing season since I started following Spurs in 1968. Even relegation was better.

Look I'm not saying Slot is the Messiah that will 100% turn is into a top team. In fact it doesn't matter which manager we are talking about tbh. The point is if he is the one seen to be the best option then you should 100% bring him in if it is possible. Yes it's a lot of money but then so is missing out on Europe, and not winning trophies. If you've decided on a candidate then FFS have the courage to back your convictions.

Just think ing out loud, I wonder who thought he was the best one is what I want to know. Who’s judgement at the club decided that? Why should we trust them.

Surely if we are sceptical of their competence in running the club then we should be concerned and sceptical about their choice of manager. After all there was no director of football, so who at the club decided Slot was the right man?
