Hilarious how many people have voted for Bezos.

Ignorance is bliss, eh!
It's also hilarious to see how many voted for "Anyone but ENIC". Would they want Alan Sugar back? What about Mike Ashley? Or maybe the Glazers? Or Venky's? We could hire Steve Kean ? Or what about Vincent Tan? Let's change our kits to red as well.

There really should be a Goat ? option in this poll.

In any case I’ll go for the guy from France no one’s ever heard of. That’s what we normally do so why break with tradition ?

N'Arnault? Sounds about right considering our track record

They aren’t going anywhere. Have probably 20 property applications on the go. Lewis wants to create a mini city like he has in Florida Bahamas Argentina Bulgaria. That’s what they do. In this case the football facilitates it.

Don't care for any of them tbh but leaning towards Bezos or Musk since they will spend a fortune based on image and prestige

I severely doubt it.

Musk generally only puts money towards things he sees as benefitting humanity, and Bezos is just the real life version of what many people on here think Daniel Levy is (e.g. a short bald man obsessed with money and uninterested in sentimentality).

I don't think there are any people of equivalent wealth who are good for a football club.

With Musk the stadium will probably randomly burst into flames like a Tesla, and no one will be able to get out.

I love how this thread has some people taking it as the joke it clearly is, and some trying to turn it into a serious discussion - it's a heady mix and I enjoy this dizzy feeling going from pillar to post :D

We arent going to be sold any time soon. ENIC has build a billion pound plus club with about £40m of their own cash, no reason to sell, not a chance.

I think the real question should be, how much can a football club actually be worth??

If levy has relinquished control on football matters, I’m more than happy for him and Enic to carry on.

If that were true yes but there is no way he doesn’t keenly control the purse strings or decide ultimately who stay or who goes.

Same. It’s been a huge undoing of all the good work they’ve done on the infrastructure by non football people being too involved in the football side of the club.

If after 20 years they’ve finally realised that and relinquished power to Paratici a proven experienced success DofF then great, Levy can keep managing the finances and growing the brand etc and Paratici can be in control of ins and outs and building a successful football team like he did with Juve.

Levy/ENIC’s other main negative is their decisions which show no regard for the fans e.g. ticket pricing, ESL proposal (and moreso the lack of apology afterwards), it’s been an absolute PR disaster left right and centre.

Hopefully now with more regular comms from Paratici a football man talking about our plan on the football side the fans will feel more connected and will trust in a plan being put together and this will leave Levy to get on in the background and do his thing, if that’s the case then all good.

Let’s see. We’ve waited 20 years, let’s hope this is the start of a new chapter on the football side. We’ve had DofF’s before but not a Managing Director of Football and we’ve never had a combination of ITK and Levy come out and say Paratici / new DofF has basically full responsibility of the football decisions at the club, that is a big Positive step change.
