Next seasons team

I had a quick look and didn't see a next season teams thread.

Anyway, it's probably going to be something like this.

I seriously think if we can lure a couple more promising names, we'll keep Berba.

I'd be shocked if we go with Jenas and Modric, just doesn't seem to fit the Ramos MO. We have been shocking defensively at times this year, so playing without a defensive midfielder won't happen.

Also I'd forget about King until we see him actually play regularly. A new CB must come in

We haven't had Woodgate for ther most part of it, and by next season we'll have another comfortable CB, and a consistent keeper.

If we get the right balance in our back 4, there should be no need for a DM.


And for the record, I think Jenas has been better this season on defensive duties than he has in going forward.

We haven't had Woodgate for ther most part of it, and by next season we'll have another comfortable CB, and a consistent keeper.

And for the record, I think Jenas has been better this season on defensive duties than he has in going forward.

It makes no difference how good your backline is even if we have Ledley and Woodgate at the back for the whole of next season, we are still going to conceed goals. Until our midfield is sorted out that won't stop and that is going to involve a defensive minded player, Jenas and Modric won't work and I'm positive that Ramos will not go with those two in the middle.

I actually think Lennon shouldn't be sold. Next season with a proper central midfield pairing putting the right balls down the channel to him I think Lennon will come into his own. Berba likley to go but I honestly reckon Bent can do it.

Maybe we will try and get Tiago and or Granero. I don't think we should sell Lennon but we do need someone on that right side who can deliver the ball better and shoot. Possibly a left back and push Bale to left midfield. Definitely need a CB possibly two as Dawson and Kaboul are pretty error prone. Ramos doesn't seem to rate Rocha. Gardener will be off.Two keepers possibly. I don't think Robbo will stay if we bring a top class keeper in. Berbs is top class but I'm not to worried if he leaves, I am sure will can bring in another top quality striker to take his place.

Ramos isn't interested in playing Kaboul as a DM, if he was he would have starting playing him there already.
