How easy would it be for you to get to Esbjerg, Denmark? There's a DFDS ferry service that runs from Esbjerg to Harwich. The ferry crossing is roughly 18 hours, soooo... actually, yeah, that's gonna be bloody tight even if you do manage to rocket boat to Denmark.
Only other option is trains i suppose, head over via the channel tunnel but even then, would you make it in time? It'd cost a fair bit too i'd imagine
I assume that you can't fly now because of that volcanic ash? Are there no flights going south? If you can get a train/flight to brussels you can get the eurostar from there. Good thing it's an evening kick-off, you need all the time you can get.
EDIT: saying that, eurostar is sold out for today, Don't know about tomorrow
I heard there's a few Norwegians driving to Calais to get a ferry to Dover as we speak. There are solutions. But there are far more who are trying to transfer their tickets to people who are stuck in London. If there's a will, there's a way.
Considered going to this game, but kind of glad I decided not to now...
hotels, trains, and tickets sorted and paid for both spurs/chelsea and the sheffield derby on sunday. plans with mates in both london and yorkshire. all up in smoke.
Don't get your hopes up, remember that the people who went from overseas for the semi and / or Arsenal are stranded in London and most of them will probably go to the game tomorrow.
Nightmare I know a fella who was heading over to WHL for the first time tomorrow, all ferries booked up, flight cancelled, completely gutted. What a nightmare.
