Chelsea going for Cucurella, Fofana and Dumfries after signing Koulibaly and Sterling. On the other hand, we end our window signing a dud in Zaniolo. We are even going to let Newcastle sign Maddison. Yet people will continue to be incessantly positive about our window and strangely certain we are going to come third.

It is starting to genuinely irritate me. People posting like this think their opinion on a player (they probably haven't seen much of) is of more value than Conte's opinion. The comforting thing to know through all this is that our opinions actually mean fuck all in the scheme of what the club will actually do. Yeah I think the poster is entitled to express his preference on a forum. Even it goes against the managers preference or alleged preference. It's not not supporting the manager..... it's just that the said poster might have another player he rates more favorably.

I trust Conte, if he likes Zaniolo more than Maddison then I hope we get Zaniolo over Maddison for him to be happy and work his magic.

I for one like Zaniolo's height. And I think Conte likes this attribute too to make us a towering force.

I don't mind people not rating a player or thinking we should look elsewhere however when you have supposed fans wanting deals to fail you have to wonder do they actually support the club at all.

Diaz was by all accounts number 1 target and we got Kulu and that didn't work out too badly. The attempts to drown out any opinion other than 'sign who Conte wants' is absurd. Voicing my opinion isn't going to change the course of events so what's the big deal?

Hildo it's called opinions mate... we still back the manager and the club. I personally don't want Zaniolo but I support Conte and Levy and Paratici. its about preference for a certain type of player/ style of play.

Thats fair enough, Paqueta is my personal choice but i'd want Zaniolo over him if Conte does.

Isn't there a limit of 2 loan players in the PL? If we have Deki and Lenglet on loan (assuming Romero gets finalised before the weekend) that would put us at the limit and not allow any more incoming loans.

I am also allowed to express my opinion too. Not sure how you think me doing that is an attempt to 'drown out' anything.
