Its interesting with sackings as at the time I was convinced that Southampton made a mistake sacking Atkins and that Swansea made a mistake sacking Laudrup but both of those sackings seemed inspired in retrospect.

What of Wet Spam. Shearer mentioned that when Newcastle,Blackburn and Bolton lost Sam as manager, they all went down..... We can dream!!
