Hi guys,

I'm having a nightmare trying to get my hands on 2 tickets (seated together) for the Sunderland match in November.

They have only just gone on general sale - and according to the site there are no 2 seats together anywhere in the ground!?

Is this normal?

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can get my hands on some?

Thanks in advance,

Jo.

yeah, this is normal, the seating planner is awful.

Best to ring the ticket office, and say.....

"I tried to get tickets online for the Birm game, there was nothing available online.

Sourced some tickets from a friend that couldn't go, and notice hundreds of empty seats at the game.

Why can't I get tickets to games with empty seats?"

Basically make a scene and you should get a couple!

Hi Maske2g - thank you for your reply.

Will give them a call on my lunch.

Hoping to get tickets in the west stand lower! COYS

Its normal for this season.

Before, it wasn't a problem but before this season they released a load of season tickets and now very few, if any, go on general sale. The club did warn of this. I had real trouble getting two for the Burnley game. There was only a couple of pairs left and they were in the west stand (prefer the south)

The only solution is to buy 2 x Lilywhite memberships (at around £40 each) Its a lot of money to pony for no tickets, but at least you stand a good chance at getting the tickets.

I'm probably going to have to go that route myself. But the £80 fee for memberships will mean 1 less game for me this season at least.

No luck! Ticketmaster couldn't help me.

Just seems silly that the site states there are tickets available just no 2's anywhere!

This crappy ticketing service they have now was supposedly brought in to reduce single seats being left...

I can understand all the different memberships having priority, that makes perfect sense.

It's just a little puzzling, the morning the tickets go on general sale - there isn't a single 2seats together.

All ticketmaster could tell me was to try again nearer the game in case they released anymore.

Guess I'll just have to keep trying, but it is dissapointing.

Thanks MattDefoe.

Ordinarily, that would be a great solution.

However on this occasion it will be with the girfriend and should we not be able to swop for whatever reason - it would be more than my life is worth! :bang:
