Was just being facetious lol as someone was getting a bit irate in one of the threads about Depay having it on his shirt :troll:
If I ever go on the run & take up a second identity I'll call myself Memphis I reckon. Memphis or Earl.

People will need to give him time and will hopefully learn from the past when we all got a little over excited about new incoming players.
It will end in tears if they dont learn.
So in other words, it will end in tears.

You don't think it would be nice to be able to bring a pacey, direct option off the bench?
Sure, but I am sorry i just don't see this guy as a straight up no question first teamer. He's a Yedlin type, masses of potential, but he's got to come up through the pecking order and prove himself as a footballer, not to mention one suited to this league.
He's not of the stature of Toby who will just walk right into the first team, mate. He'll get a few sub appearances in cup games probably, then if he does ok a sub or 2 in the league later in the year and by November/ December we will see if he's up to it for this season.

I think people are ridiculously over excited by him, as if he's a fully fledged star ready to go. He's not.

I think it's more he brings the raw attributes the first team are so blatantly desperately crying out for
