Last post on the subject, you are seriously comparing us, with one recognised forward to Barcelona or Real Madrid.?? Ok.

I think that caters to his point in truth, considering Barca and Madrid have more quality spread through their XI's to the defense, and yet they still keep their top attackers on the pitch. You never know in truth, goal differential may decide something for us in the end with how tight the top five are.

I'd guess this season is the first time that's happened in my lifetime (27 years). It's incredible.
Considering we've been lucky to be in the + at this stage of the season in the past! Massive turn around for us. Mostly thanks to Toby and Dier for me, Toby has to be our best signing for years, the impacxt he's had has been immense!

I don't care if the Norwich defence is shit or has the shits. I'd be over the moon with a 1-0 win. And I can't even think about the Watford game until we get this one to bed.
Although a 3-0 win is good too.

Now, about Watford...

Get 3 points against Watford. Hopefully Chelsea do a job on Utd to keep them pegged back, and probably a draw would suit us with Leicester and City. Just got to keep winning and the rest will take care of itself.

Messi and Ronaldo are just as important to their clubs as Kane is to us. If Barca lose Messi, they probably lose the title, which is their benchmark for success.

I do get your point re wrapping him up in cotton wool, but that just doesn't seem to be Poch's style. I think he's a manger who understands that football is often played in the head, you can see that in the way he refuses to complain about the burden of the Europa League or our lack of obvious strength in depth up front. For him to start making an exception for Kane, and resting him when he wants to be playing, may create a complex in the players head that wasn't there before. By forcing him to push himself further and further he continues to grow in confidence, and the thought of injury or burn-out probably doesn't even occur to him at this point.

Nice observation.

A well played first half and a good second half performance. Could have been a hat trick for Harry Kane, unlucky to strike the side posts twice. Up to third and +10 goal difference.

I get what your saying, but they and everyone else knows what happens if he gets sidelined for 2 months.

If Poch drags Kane off at the 80th minute he goes home ruing the chances he missed, instead he'll be holding his head high having bagged a brace and put the game to bed.
