I don’t know the answers why but I do know that whenever we get the ball and try play out with it or try to hold some possession, without fail, our players receive the ball facing away from goal, under pressure and without an easy outlet to move it on to.
We seem to exist solely with the idea that we will play 3-4 passes quickly, on the move and on the turn and that in itself will unlock the opposition and give us a chance to score.
When it doesn’t work it just looks so bad
