I'm really not enjoying watching us play at all.
To think we nearly won that 3.0. Would have been daylight robbery.
We've absolute class upfront and the rest is painful to watch.
Aaaaaannnnd this is why I don't come into match threads anymore..

We've havnt been at our best so far this season but Jesus. Painful to watch is a mental analysis.

Poor win & poor start despite it being the best start for decades. Should be 4/4 - we always win at Chelsea.

If Arsenal win their next game I think we should just focus on the FA Cup.

Son - poor

Everyone else - average

Kane - Laughing at the end with the goalkeeper that saved his penalty is unacceptable, he should be scoring and just a quick handshake at the end

Conte - Needs to sign someone else or its not a good window
Sorry surely this a joke post right?! ??‍♂️

Quality wise was again not brilliant, the front three especially were fucking away anything and everything, but as we see virtually every week, the 5-4-1 shape with everyone back in our third means we defend our penalty area by sheer weight of number mostly comfortably and without that many real scares. Forest huffed and puffed to extremely little, and every time we went forward it looked like it could be a goal given the space and opportunity available. If we'd been anywhere near our clinical best that was a 5 or 6 nil smashing.

It is a funny old game though.... Personally I don't think Kane's general performance across 90 mins are much better than Son's so far this season, yet one is (somehow) 4 from 4 and everyone is delighted whilst the other is 0 from 4 and getting hammered. I think both can (and we need, ASAP) be considerably better.

Points-wise looking alright, things need to sharpen up though in the coming weeks.

Fuck me Kane is a team mate of Henderson for England. Had we lost or had he have done it during the game you may have a point. As it is you are just making a big deal out of absolutely nothing.

Just because you shoot it wouldn't necessarily translate into a chance. We defended efficiently and proficiently today. We wholly deserved the 3 points today.
I agree it's a fair result after 90 min, but I don't entirely agree on our defending, I feel it was too passive most of the first half. We were quite overrun and looked very much out of sorts.

You say never we were never in control, but what I think you mean is we didn't have the bulk of possession. Looked obvious to me we conceded possession tactically because of how susceptible they were to the counter. We didn't even try to win the ball back until we were set in the low block.

As you say we were sloppy at times at playing out but never really looked in any real danger.
Yep bang on, completely agree. Some people need to understand that by having 70-80% of possession is not the only way to ‘control’ a game

Kane just pretty much said it’s part of our tactics but that yes we need to manage the ball a little better.

Sign of a very good team winning games when ‘not playing well’.

Personally I thought we played perfectly fine. Forest beat West Ham and didn’t give them much of a sniff, we had quite a few

Kane also just said “we knew the way they like to press meant we couod

Sarcasm was screaming from the first line: "We always win at Chelsea"

That's a great result. Got worrying after missing so many opportunities, but I think Forest at their place is gonna be tough for most teams.
Performances may not have been great so far, but can't complain about the points.......COYS!!

If we have 30% possession and 10-15 shots with 5 on target it's fine. If we have poor possession, few shots with 1 or 2 on target then it's not sustainable, even with world class finishers like Kane and in-form Son. We just aren't fully clicking yet.
