Really pleased we got that goal, they've been trying to bully us, Brennan done by that clogger Boly, it's been like watching old style Wimbledon or Pulis Stoke.

Started so well too. What changed?
They won't last a second half the same as first, they are pumped up for this and going after everything to close it down.

A few strong challenges and we have back off also and letting them play. Need to start playing the quick passes and then out wide. I feel we go too central too often.

We seriously need to sign another attacking option in Jan, if Ange won’t bring Gil on in this situation then we now basically have zero decent senior attacking options left on the bench.

Great ball from Kulusevski, good work from Richy to get the run right.

We've looked poor for the most part. Very similar to the Wolves game imo which was our worst performance of the season. Forest won't change much next half, they will still look to sit back and try to do us on the counter. Elanga and Gibbs-White aren't doing badly up there and will trouble Vicario at some point. That or get a thrown in high up the pitch, which we aren't doing well at defending.

We desperately need to do better defending in general, it all feels so panicked and last ditch, no one is keeping calm out there.

I'd put money on Yates injuring someone tonight too. That collision with Porro was poor from him and overlooked.

Bread and butter for Richarlison put the ball in and there is always a decent chance he will get on the end of it

Gil would get bullied too much in this game right now. Right call for skipp IMO.

I think we’ve been poor, but I don’t think we’re undeserving here.

Tbh we should have been 1-0 up inside 3mins.

Maddison is a bit of a Gazza but also teams are much better tactically now so harder to play like Gazza but I do agree players seem coached to always pass the ball especially in the middle and not dare to try and dribble past someone.

I honestly have no idea what Skipp’s role is supposed to be in this lineup. He’s not playing as a 10 but too high up the pitch to help as an 8
Funnily enough, my lad has just said the exact same thing to me.
I don't know if Ange is still trying to see what he can offer and where but he certainly doesn't seem to play him as the DM he is.
