Woohoo! Thanks Kanye West Stand. Now, onto the Awards and a new format this year that sees Spurs Chat get its very own awards and voting. For details of the Front Page and Spurs Chat Awards, just pop into those forums.
The Format
Very different to previous years, so listen (well, read) up. We’ve also split the awards to reflect the tastes and flavours of each main area of Spurs Community (Front Page, Spurs Chat & Chat). There are also slightly different rules for each area, so make sure you’re voting/nominating the right person in the right place. It’s actually very simple, but I’ve made a long explanatory post as, let’s face it, that’s just what I do.

In order to win an award, you must first be nominated – which will be an open procedure taking place in this very thread – then, assuming you are successfully nominated, you will go on a shortlist with all the other nominees. Only people on the shortlist for each category can win an award.

In order to make the shortlist of nominees and therefore appear in the final vote, the individual/thread/whatever needs to be:
a) Nominated
b) Seconded
c) Thirded
Once you have nominated one person in a category, you can not also nominate someone else. However, you can ‘second’ OR ‘third’ ONE further person.
There will be a maximum of 8 positions available on any shortlist. Once the 8th place has been filled, nominations will close in that category.
I, or my fellow Moddierators, will keep the first post updated with nomination standings, so you know who has been shortlisted so far.
