One massive game at Eastlands, biggest leauge game in premiership history, cup final, champions lge play off. Can not wait for the game, it can not come soon enough. Nerves are on overdrive already.

Going to need one monumental effort from the entire team.

Can we beat city? YES WE CAN
Can we get fourth? YES WE CAN
Can we be playing champions lg football? YES WE CAN
Can our strikers finally score a goal or two? YES WE CAN

I am trying to talk myself out of believing, just because I know how dissapointed I am going to be, I keep on telling myself what a good season we have had regardless of if we finish fourth or not, but I.....

So it's the big one Wednesday night. If we win that, we're into the Champions League qualifier. There is no bigger incentive than that for Wednesday night. I don't think I can stomach it though.

I'm just bricking it but when I think a win there could take us to the Champions League I get a burst of excitement.

Main target: Just avoid defeat at all costs.

With West Ham's form, I really don't expect them to take any points away from City.

The best thing is Arsenal taking two points off City last week and leaving us a point clear so that 2 outcomes still benefit us where as it is simply must win for Man City now (if they want to keep 4th in their own hands)

Your right this is a massive game, shame Villa couldn't get a win there today but we have known deep down for some time now it was always likely to come down to this game.

The boys done what needed to be done today against a durable Bolton side and the three points were vital. We now stare into a date with destiny at Eastlands, not that I am over looking Burnley but a win or a draw at Eastlands leaves 4th in our own hands, we simply must not lose.

This game now makes the Pompey semi look like a pre season stroll at Stevenage, I hope the lads can go up there and do the business.

I've been cool about this CL business all season and will not entertain the notion of us actually being there until it happens. HR has a lot of mental prep. to do with the lads before weds. If Gomes is crook, then it will be extra important that our strike force is effective on weds.
