Hey... as your all aware Rob and his team became concerned that due to lose of advertisers that SC maybe in trouble and not be able to continue running.

They needed a total of £2500 to ensure that SC can run for the next 12 months without trouble.

Rob and his team do an amazing job - they give their free time and resources up so we can have one of the best football (let alone Spurs) Web sites around.

There's only £250 to go now... I've just donated an extra £20 - would be amazing if we could get it too the required amount by end of day tomorrow!

So if you can spare any get donating!



Oh and whilst I can't 100% guarantee it... infact I can't even 1% guarantee it... but I heard Villa, Ronaldinho and Jarque will all sign AS SOON as we've raised £2500!

Cheers Davey The number of people who've donated is amazing and the amount from people who hardly post is really surprising. Hello all of you :hello:

We've still got a few cheques coming in the post so we're even slightly closer to the target. That guarantees our survival for at least a year but then we need to think about what to do next so please don't ignore the ads/affiliates even if we reach the target

I'm hedging my bets this won't be moved based upon the fact that Rob and the mods will want maximum exposure to ensure the site is saved!

even with sparing donations through the year, you'll easily get £2,500 over 12 months.

With Amazon we get a percent of what you spend, around 5% but it varies. If you click the Amazon link on the right of the forums or on the affiliate page linked in all the sigs before you buy we'll get a cut

SC receive a certain percentage of each order that is made throught the SC amazon link.

So you will help SC loads by ordering lots of expensive items from amazon (using the SC amazon link)..

I am buying a PS3 this summer, and will get it from SC amazon. SC should get a fair amount of money from this via their percentage cut!

I just assumed as other affiliate places used to offer a one off payment (and never %age based) that it was an Amazon thing
