But we are not majority supported by Jewish people by a long way. Every club will have some predominant following. In some cases clubs have a primarily catholic following and so on.

So your local Kebab house, is that a Turkish business or is it English because the majority of its customers are English?

If the ownership is prone to change and the customers remain the same then it is known for its customers not the owners.

No hence the use of the present tense. What is your actual point?

That we are not a Jewish club and never have been. You cannot divorce over 100 years and ownership could easily change again. What if we sell to Arab ?

Are Chelscum a Russian club ? Are Manure an American club ? Is Citeh an Arab club ? Is the Arse an American club ? Are Liverpool an American club ? No !!!!!

The owners do not change any club from being straightforward English clubs. Not Jewish not Catholic not Arabic not Russian not American ........

No but none of those clubs is in Russian, American or Arabic parts of their respective cities. North London, at least neighbourhoods as close to us as Stamford Hill, has always had traditionally Jewish community. I believe you know that and this is a fun exercise in facetiousness.

In any respect, whether we are purely, partly or in no way a "Jewish" club- we are perceived as having a Jewish heritage or element to our club be it the ownership, the fans, the community or the area of London.

This all came about because a bunch of Neanderthals wanted to wind us up. It isn't seen as odd on here that they refer to us as "Jews", just odious like the fans who taunt us about Hitler and the holocaust.

Traditional does not make anything predominant. I was born raised in Tottenham and supported the Spurs from the fifties. Never in my time did we ever consider the Spurs as a Jewish club

To see orthodox Jewish men around North London was a rarity.

I know other Spurs supporters from that time who totally agree we were never a Jewish club and we despise "Yid Army" chants though we understand how they came about.

Golders Green was considered Jewish and the East End but I only saw them prevalent in the East End. Just a few around Spurs and Arsenal territory.

But surely you can understand why Belgrade and other fans mock us with reference to our Jewish “identity” and that our ownership for the past 25 years is only part of the reason?

Yes it does.

How does it? I don't think their fans were trying to make some sort of complex sociological statement but were responding to the fact that we are well known to have Jewish connections; born out of our ownership for the past 25 years or so and not unrelated, the ethnic make up of north/east London.

I very much doubt that they know anything at all about our ownership. The only reason they refer to us as Jewish is because some of our supporters insist on calling themselves 'Yids'.
