It is. You can say we're not a "yid club" all you like, doesn't change anything. The label is there and the label will stick with us now whether people like it or not. Everyone not just yourself needs to get over it. We also,as you said, need to be prepared for other fans to use it against us. It's happened and it will continue to happen.

Totally agree. Part of owning the word and desensitising the word, means it will be used in a less aggressive manner hopefully.

Whilst I believe you have a point in this regard, this sign or banner is not just banter, as you call it.

If a club had an all black board of directors, in a region with a black demographic, would it be acceptable to have a banner saying "only negroes and pussies"? I think you know the answer.

Ignoring things like this and dismissing it as harmless banter just continues to allow anti-Semitism to continue to be the acceptable face of racism.

It´s a banner but it was a racist one, you may not percieve it as racist but there are a number of people that do. Even if you think that we are not Jewish the banner was wrong. Even Partizan recognise that.

Go read the various arguments on this subject on this site, there's hundreds of pages of it in the various threads over the years. Once you've caught up with the state of the debate then engage if you still wish. At the moment your posts are banal and don't do justice to others, even those who might kind of agree with the general thrust of your conclusion, but have made their case cogently.

I saw my first Spurs game in 1950.

Current Spurs fans are bastardising Tottenham Hotspur with this nonsense Yid rhetoric. Too weak to to turn the other cheek to Spam and Chelscum etc with their own nonsense.

A true Spur is not a Yid, not any kind of religion as a Spurs fan but simply a proud Spurs fan.
