So I was overjoyed to be surprised yesterday for my birthday with my dad’s classic shirt from the 93-95 seasons:

It’s “well loved” but I love it anyway.

What classic shirts are in your closets?

This was my first ever shirt, bought on my first visit to WHL as a 13 year old in 1994. After I grew out of it my sister wore it for a while before being safely stashed in my kit collection. I've only missed one home shirt since (Pony 1999) and question why I still keep buying the bloody things

Think the Navy adidas one shown above in the thread (2000ish) with Rebrov on the back on mine is probably one of my favourites

loved that top, remember my mum washing it in the machine and the bottom corner got caught in it. It came out and the bottom corner was shredded but I still wore it cos I was a poor Scottish bastard ?

Awesome mate. That purple Pony one is special as it was my first Spurs shirt, which I still had it laying around! Had that navy kappa one too but I was stupid and ironed it, left a big hole on the front

The Kappa one is hands down the most worn one. You can see how raggy it is at the bottom. I must have worn that for every training session I did at Uni, for about 2 years.

What is this "ironed" thing you mention?

I remember going into my local sports shop after school and seeing this shirt for the first time. I Loved it.
Good quality as well.

Love the purple pony one. I got Anderton on the back. Would have been cheaper to get ‘injured’ on the back as I think he missed most of the 95/96 season!!

Love that shirt. Got Iversen on the back of mine. Randomly the club sent me the players version of this shirt when I ordered it. Took ages for me to work out why my sponsor didn't have the reflective bit that my mates shirt did.
1991 home probably pride of my collection, 1999 home my all time favourite. Like many others, I am a sucker for the adidas kits.

I loved that one on the bottom left, the Blue Kappa. Those Kappa shirts were a bit of a tight fit.

I started supporting in '81 (Ricky Villa and all that) and my first kit was a white t-shirt with the badge sewn on by my mum...
