Like N’dombele, Aurier and Sissoko? No they were at home playing Fortnite while someone is trying to find a club stupid enough to take them off our hands.I'm not going to overreact about this game. For me it's the first competitive full game for the youngsters and new players. I also think we should have at least 3 first teamers in every game we play as they are the leaders to help guide the youngsters and fringe players. That leaves 8 players getting game time
They are not kids they are experienced PL players and Internationals and probably play in half our games during the season.Lo Celso is the closest to a regular. Winks, Davies and Doherty don't really get real consistent game time
I suspect Rodon will play if he's fit next week and we'll have a clearer idea of whether or not certain players are leaving so we might see them play otherwise keep the same team.
Second string side, who haven't played together before. Crap performance with a potentially predictable outcome.
No biggy.
We win the second leg at home with the crowd and a few more first teamers scattered in there.
This is fucking war.
One final point on this - Ndombele could have made a massive difference if he gave two f*cks about this club and had put any effort into getting fit and contributing. We were really missing that type of player
What a tw*t
That is niche trolling. Really quite impressive
Let's hope - Lamela on the pitch last night would have raised the intensity somewhat. Never understood the hate for him (I get the points of frustration).I like Bryan's passion - a bit of Lamela in him
Completely agree, some seemed so concerned with the coefficient if we sack it off, getting a bit ahead of themselves there in my opinion, let’s not worry too much about it until we actually qualify for the champs league which won’t happen if we go deep in this pointless comp.Still not fussed about last night's result, still not fussed about the competition, it's the Papa John's trophy of European football and I seriously think it will be detrimental to play our premier League side in it. The one benefit of not having European football is the luxury of a full week between league games and this competition isn't worth giving away that advantage.
When we've only got an Audi Cup to our name, I'll take the Papa John's trophy of European football.Still not fussed about last night's result, still not fussed about the competition, it's the Papa John's trophy of European football and I seriously think it will be detrimental to play our premier League side in it.
