62 rated on Fifa with only 79 potential. I am Sarrtain that he wont be very good not that it will Matar to many of you.

Sorry.
I just checked FM, and on there he's 1.60, while according to wiki he's 1.80. So he's either had a growth spurt in his 19th year, or the game researchers haven't done their job properly.

As an added bonus (IF signed) because he's not 19 until 14th September, after 3 full seasons he'd eventually become Club Trained for UEFA competitions in August 2024.

Though effectively he'd be Club Trained after only 2 full seasons, because he could be registered as an U21 in Europe in August 2023.

Obviously in PL he'd be U21 for next 3 years, and then become club trained.

If we loaned him within England during the 3 years he'd still become Association trained for PL and UEFA.

EDIT: Unless we loan him back of course, in which case he'd remain as non home grown.

Earlier in the week there was talk of City purchasing him and immediately loaning him back to Metz.

Don't mind signings like this. The kind of player Leicester would buy then everyone would moan about our lack of scouting

There were rumours earlier this week that his agent had headed to London for talks with a few English clubs. This link to us would add up.

I share a birthday with him, it’s a sign welcome to Tottenham

Pape Sarr (Metz) in negotiations with Tottenham. All parties are negotiating, but nothing has been done yet. Discussions are advanced, however. They relate to a transfer exceeding 10 million euros, according to our information

Nothing is done yet? We need to get this one done quickly because crack highs do not last that long at all.

The press are usually a few days behind, so it could already be done pending an announcement.

Fingers crossed!

Good price but have we ever signed an outfield player from France whose been any good?!

It's ridiculous how bad our transfers from france has been. Ndombele, Nkodou, Njie, Stambouli, Capoue, Aurier...

Lloris and Lucas has been good, but it's reasonable to be a little sceptical about potential incomings.

l’équipe saying it’s done for “far less than €30m” and we “could leave him there on loan”

Courted by many clubs, especially in England, the young Senegalese midfielder Pape Sarr should be sold to Tottenham who could leave him on loan to Metz.

"When you hear of a departure at 18 years old, it weighs on your mind," regretted Frederic Antonetti last Sunday after Pape Sarr's failed performance in Nantes (0-2). The young midfielder has indeed been targeted by big clubs for weeks, especially in the Premier League. It is finally Tottenham who should recruit the Senegalese international (2 caps).

Representatives of Spurs were in a big hotel in Metz on Wednesday in order to complete an operation that will bring a sum far from the initial claims of the club (30M€). The player, who played 22 L1 games last season (18 starts), could remain on loan at Metz until next June.

thanks for translating mate! would be a shame if he went back on loan but with these type of players all that matters is that we have the player on our books.
