Did he have a post-match celebratory joint or something, or does he alsways seem stoned?

Yeah no definitely :p

Looks like quite a relaxed kid, as you say, but also quite aware with a good head on his shoulders. Some prospects dont learn or progress, they think their ability will be enough to see them through, but from that interview he seems to acknowledge he has room for improvement and wants to improve, and hopefully he can be a real asset for us in the future

''hopefully i can smash a few people in the next game''

 sounds very proffesional!

This interview was done immediatly after the game with no warning and Dean has had No media training. He had been in the middle of his warm down when he was asked to go and get his man of the match. Where he was also interviewed. Please bare in mind he is a 17 year old boy.
I think he did very well.
I would have struggled in the same situation and been very tongue tied.

P.s proffesional ? sp professional :)

He is a young professional footballer who had given an excellent 80 mins box to box running and been involved in a very physical game in which he held his own.
I think you would have been lucky to still be standing  never mind looking glazed over.

Sounds like a very honest lad, I thought he came across really well for a youngster. Good luck to him!

I look forward to him starting a few games for us. Was impressed with him when played last year.

I wish him all the best and I hope he works hard and stay focused, don;t get carried away and maybe he can become another legend of the lane.

I like the fact that Harry has scraped the reserve team and sent the lads out on loan, where thay can learn the real game in a competetive match. They should improve a lot quicker. Looking forward to Parret making some appearences next season in a Spurs shirt!

I've honestly never seen this guy play, but he looked pretty mature for his age, both physically and in the interview. He seemed composed, not super-hyped about being MOTM, speaking about his days at QPR, the gaffer, etc. Pretty mature for his age I'd say. I would love this video to become one of those gems in the future about the early days of a super star (for Spurs of course).

I think he comes across really well. He doesn't sound big headed, realises he need to keep improving and is humble enough to acknowledge his team mates. Fingers crossed that he impresses Harry enough to get some more time with the first team.

Kalitsa :hello:

Can't believe Deano's still 17. I have a sneaky feeling he's going to be very good in a few years time.
