After a successful trial period at the club last season, the 16-year-old has put pen to paper on a four year contract, in spite of interest from a host clubs, including Manchester United.

Mpoku’s club, Standard Liege confirmed the deal through a spokesperson to English newspaper <I>The Sunday Mirror.
